Hey hey, it's been 4 years and we're still waiting for you to see Nat Butcher's potential

Part of what makes us fans, and not coaches, is that we get it wrong. We're passionate and often fly off the handle.

Hutch has always struck me as a solid replacement and nothing more. Boy was I wrong. He has been incredible the past few weeks.

It's the same with Iku. He drops a ball early and I bag him, only to play the rest of the game like peak Pinball Mini. These two blokes have a habit of making me look like a turkey; but I'm cool with that.

Back on Hutch, he is a testament to the notion that you need to persist with talented youngsters into their mid 20s and beyond. As well as a testament to work ethic and great character. The players and coaches love him.

Hutch will compliment Keary very well next year. It'll be a fascinating selection battle with Walker. Especially when you factor in the size of Sam and Luke, as Drew makes it a very complimentary little n large duo.

I've got say, with Watson coming I struggle to see a place for Lam in 2022.

The purchase of Watson signals to me that Robbo sees someone in the squad who isn't quite up to the job, and doesnt think they will be over the coming years.

Halves: Keary, Walker (res: Hutchison, Lam, Watson)

Hooker: Verrils, Watson (res: Marsche, Lam, Lussick)

I don't think Lam is a bad player, he just isn't as good as what else we've got.

In any event, on the back of this year I suspect we will lose Hutch and Lussick at least as they'll be picked up by other clubs. So who knows, its possible he'll even still be around as a reserve if no one else want him.

I wanted to write this a few weeks ago when hutch really hit some consistency.

Good headache for robbo with keary, hutch, walker, lam Watson and keighran all up for utility and half positions.

Wouldn't surprise me to see keary/hutch combo, someone needs to miss out but it can't be Watson or walker from the 14.

Lam can be depth if he wants to stay. And how can you leave AK out for that kicking.

          Interesting times ahead.

I'd rather have those problems than trying to cobble together a side.

Hutch has already re-signed I thought.

Can you carry both Watson and Walker on the bench?

Remember this is V'landys Ball where the fabric of the game, and what it takes to succeed, has shifted dramatically.

Bearing in mind Connor can play 60 minutes at lock it might not be so absurd.

Take a bow Drew. His best performance yet, with the Dragons match second.

Absolutely carved them up with his running game and his composure

                        Correct.

                        For 2022 and 2023.

We are a prop short of some phenomenal depth.

I mean we already have outrageous depth. It's the only way we could compete like we have all season in spite of the injury toll.

Such a nothing player and can’t believe there were people in here wanting him ahead of Walker. Laughable, if it wasn’t for his Dad he wouldn’t even be playing A grade park footy.
Wow...and your accusing people of negativity.

Nat is great in defense but that’s only half the game. I still think he offers little in attack and shows little aggression.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see ak start at 3 next year and sualii eased into it again. Personally would like ak at hooker. Watson will be utility over hutcho. Hutcho first cab off the ranks
