  • Where would you rate this season?

Well, now that we’ve completed the regular season and will probably finish 5th, with all the adversity we’ve been through as a club where would you rank this year as our most compelling, our best way of showing the roosters culture and the strength of our foundation. One of the best I say, a bunch of rookies have held it together over the last year and kept us in great stead.

Robbo for dally M coach anyone? He deserves it over Bellamy.

It's already ahead of seasons when we won the Minor Premiership but failed to win the big one - even if we've had our last 2021 win.

I think this season is the one that will leave a lasting imprint in my heart , and by the time I’m gone to meet my maker it will be looked back on as the launching pad of multiple roosters premierships.
By the way , I still haven’t given up hope of winning the premiership this year yet. I’ll only stop anticipating when we are knocked out.

This is the bravest season i have seen by a club, not just the Roosters.

it's a good time to take stock. we've had the worst injury toll in memory but having played all our regular season games we sit in the top 4. we haven't been able to match it with the teaams above us but have beaten every team below us at least once. no doubt some of those teams are crap but we showed that even without half our team we're not crap

Agreed 66, my favourite non GF-winning year in recent memory. I have really enjoyed watching the team toil away. The grit they have shown will strengthen our culture even more and it has been great to see Marshke, Egan. Baker, Walker, lil JoJo, Whyte and Tupac (and others that I would have missed) all get a good taste of first grade.

Coach would be proud of them, and all fans should be as well.

We are in the finals now, and you just never know what could happen,

If we won the comp I would say the greatest non fluked miracle in sporting history. If we can win a finals game or even make it to the GF qualifier Id say as good a season as 2010

This has been a revelation as to the injury toll, the performance of the young players and the leadership by the old firm…plus Robbo & Fitzy of course.

I have said it before that I usually look forward to getting a new player for the season, someone with a good name, but realistically we have given so much opportunity to the young players that have now experienced the level and have become fully fledged NRL players like Hutch, E Butch, Baker, Maerscke, Whyte, Suaalii and of course Walker. Other than Walker, none of these guys would have had any chances to step up had we not had such a bad year. That’s the silver lining to all the bad stuff…By the start of next season these guys will be awesome so realistically no need to bring anyone else.

It's been compelling, distressing, exciting. frustrating, refreshing. To start so strongly, then lose one of our best players after 3 games, then to start to show that we could cope with his loss, only to lose 2 more players on the same night, regroup again and then lose our two spiritual leaders without them really setting foot on the park and to still finish in the top 5 has been truly remarkable

I've loved this season it's been a blessing to watch the development of so many young players who are going to be really good footy players. I know Penrith and the Storm have great rosters at present but I can see us having premiership success with these young blokes in the future.

Better than 2016 when we lost two key players and fell in a screaming heap

this season has been awesome for the development opportunities and for our results

                        Grade A plus

With all the adversity, injuries and retirements, dramas and suspensions, Trent and the available players have exceeded all expectations. So proud of everyone involved.

Would be Grade A plus plus if we somehow get to the grand final and/or actually win the comp.

                          Great season.
This is similar to 2016 in terms of hurdles to overcome.
Though in 2016 we finished second last, this season we finish 5 or 6.
Robbo probably learnt some tough lessons in 2016.

That had everything to do with the schism in the team. The pro-dog rooters vs the anti-dog rooters.

In regard to team spirit and dealing successfully with adversity, I would rate this team as the dictionary definition of will and determination. If they go on to win the GF I will rate them as the best team ever. Maybe not based on pure skill, instead based on the legacy that they will leave for all teams to admire and aspire to.
