    Of all time: Barney Dalton.

Current era: Even though he's only been here this year, Adam Keighran. I hope he retires a Rooster.

Out of current crop: Toops and Jared.

Toops - Grown as a player and is now a physical weapon. Came as nothing and played for NSW. Stayed when he could of left and got a whole lot more money. Will hopefully retire as our best try scorer

Jared - Just God bless him. Hope he stays on and becomes our most capped player

My favourite players are not always ones expected. Freddy was never one. SBW wasn't. Horry wasn't. The ones off the top of my head are:

            Noel Cleal
            Terry Regan
            Bruce Sinclair
            Terry Hermansson
            Jason Tassell
            Joe Lydon
            Andrew Walker
            Todd Carney (incredible in 2010)

            MORLEY - all time.

If I had to name one of the Robbo era and also this season I think it has to be JWH.

            Who is your favourite player?
I hear lots of great things about Noel Cleal. In today's game with modern training it sounds like he'd be a force of nature.

You must have been gutted when he left for Manly.

Loved Gary Wurth. Hugh McGahan. Jeff Orford. Terry Reagan.

Edited this coz I forgot Brendan Hall. Always liked the way he played. Just a real good footy player and tough as nails.

                Current crop JWH.

From the early days: Artie, Russell Fairfax & Johnny Peard. I used to love Paul McCabe and Kerry Boustead as a child but then they joined the chip stealers.
From the last 24 years: Freddy, Maubs , Toups, Mini & Jake Friend
From the last 24 hours: Adam Keighran
Favourite non Roosters - Mick Cronin and Brett Kenny
"Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Gutted isn’t the half of it.

Don’t forget that at the end of 82 we lost our coach Fulton, Cleal, Boustead, Fahey, Giteau. Maybe some more.

I remember clearly the 13 year old me wondering where we go from there. How can we survive. I eventually decided that life goes on.

I loved Royce Ayliffe as a youngster and had a man crush on Trevor Gillmeister and Hughie.

More recently Morley, Fitzy, JWH and Aubbo.
True Aubbo story - at Glenn’s “Raise Up A Rooster” night I was talking to him and mentioned that he was my son’s favourite player. He was surprised it wasn’t one of the flashier guys and was quite chuffed. We spoke for about 10 minutes, he asked if I had a business card and moved on.

About a week later a package arrived at my house. It was from Aubbo - a signed jersey and cap for my son. I was a complete nobody and he did that. Legend.

Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

                                Ron Coote and Artie.
NRL era: so many but Fitzy stands out for me.
                                Horrie as well of course.
Non Rooster would be Brett Kenny easily.
