WTF Robbo - Lam on for 90% of the game and Walker on for 10% of the game?

If Walker had more game time, it's a reasonable assumption he'd have taken the attempt at converting Tupou's try in the corner. He'd have missed it of course, and we'd all be spewing about losing the game by 1 or 2 points instead of complaining about how little time he spent on the field.

He's kicked before when Keighran was there. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a very important kick and somewhat ignored by everyone.

There’s more chance of Robbo coming out of the coaching box and taking the shot than Walker, now that Keighran has established himself as the first choice kicker.

You always try and spin the worst on Lam regardless of what he does. You even blamed him for Kearys acl for crissakes!

He shredded them twice and could have had 2 tries save for the dubious obstruction rules. He threatened the line a lot more than Hutch. I thought our whole left hand side of Hutch, Gus and Keighran were much more clunky if you're looking for scapegoats.

I think people forget you have a squad of players for a reason and all in the squad and more could be used during an NRL season for varying lengths of time.

It is fortunate the club has such players many of whom have come through the Chooks systems or pathways as they call it now to step into roles and contribute this season - other clubs would really struggle filling these roles especially long term.

To dish Lam/Hutch and even N Butcher who has established himself in the 17 over a number of seasons is rather poor form to say the least.

As Gomer Pyle USMC would often say "Shame Shame Shame" on these that do that - easy to be a critic when your not having to do it though.

I agree. The boys that have been used have excelled. Lam has played all over the park for us including in the centres. I'm not sure what people want from him.

Why leave a player of his skill set on the bench for so long. I get you want to look after him being so young etc but that time has passed. You should have rested him more during the season. The time to rest him during a knock out final is long gone.

Nearly cost you the game and should have brought him on way sooner!

Couldn’t agree with you more mate,Sam Walker is one of those players that if your forwards are holding the fort up front you want the ball in his hands as much as possible..

Their were times against the Titans where we had good ball on their line yet looked clunky and wasted opportunities based on no direction..

I think the Chooks errors almost cost them the game though - 2 or 3 of the Titans tries came from these .

A very poor set completion rate of 64% and 46 missed tackles kept the Titans in the game also- It was fortunate the Titans set completion rate of 67% wasn't much better although they defended better than they usually do with 20 missed tackles only

Compare Storms 90% set completions and 19 missed tackles vs Manly's 72% set completions and 36 missed tackles and Souths 85% set completions and 21 missed tackles vs Penrith's 75% set completions and 28 missed tackles and you can see that high set completions and low missed tackles are vital commodities in finals footy as it is during the year.

You don't want to contribute to your own downfall because of poor play and ill discipline.

Chooks will need to improve on these two areas as a minimum to be competitive vs Manly
