The first thing Baker did was drop the ball coming out of our own end that resulted in a Titans try and the 19 year old halfback showcased his defensive liability in all its glory and almost cost us the game.

We’d done more than enough in attack to win the game and all their tries were soft shit so Walker being on the bench was a non-factor and probably saved us further tries conceded.

If Walker is such a liability, how did we manage to win so many games with him as starting halfback? Our attack functions so much better with him as halfback and when you control possession you don’t have to do as much defending. With Lam and Hutch in the halves, Teddy has to do all the creating in attack. It won’t be enough against Manly.

And Manly without Turbo was the only top 8 team that we beat without Walker. So I am not sure where you are going with that one. I don’t need to call you a prick btw.

Well this is disingenuous since we'd only played 2 games before Keary went down. We haven't lost a game that Walker started on the bench either

Walker, however great a half back, is a definite liability against large forward packs. Play him and the Titans score multiple barging tries targeting Walker. In final footy he’s too much of a risk to keep on the field for very long unless we are way ahead.

Again it’s a meaningless stat that would be foolish to tale much out of. We won 11 out of 17 with Walker starting at half and most of the games that he has started have been without a sizeable core of our roster.
