It's fair to assume we were always going to lose this game. There's only so far a 50% reserve grade team can take it. I do wish we were given a fair shake at the game early though. V'landyball is the worst product of rugby league I've ever seen in all my years watching the sport. The way a game can end in the first 20 minutes is just gross. Hats off to Manly but they will not get this treatment against Souths... In fact they will get the opposite and will be in for a rude shock. No way that Souths wouldn't be awarded regulation six agains on repeated blatant leg pulls.

Love my Roosters and so proud of their effort this year. Hate this version of Rugby League so much that I don't think I'll continue to tune in.

I knew they'd lose. There was no way the chip stealers were going to be as hopeless as they were last week. What I was hoping for was respectability to send Isaac and JMoz off with some dignity. Couldn't even manage that. Fargin pathetic.

For a triumphant year with our resilience, we’ve just taken a massive step back with tonight’s performance. This is circa 2016 footy. Fk me I’m so gutted, I knew we’d lose tonight but to not even be in the fight and continue to drop the ball and fall off tackles. We’ve made Manly look like world beaters tonight. I can’t continue to watch it, but hopefully the lads can earn back some pride in the jumper.
