Assuming everything was fixed with Latrell and he wanted to get back (which he won't because 'we are not his people') who would you prefer to deputise if Tedesco couldn't play, Latrell or Manu? I would pick Manu any day...His positioning is better and doesn't go missing in bombs...
Yeah I would go Manu too, Latrell is the most lethal centre in the game.

      Mitchell back?
      No thanks.

      Riff are favourites?
      Crikey!

If I were wealthy I'd be betting $100,000 on the Vermin to win.
      Why?
I believe that they have more points in them than the Riff..."lethal left side" no one much has been able to stop all year.
High bombs, many grubbers that bounce anywhere and everywhere and from which they score tries most every game.
Also, Sutton's refereeing style and their playing style are seriously compatible, statistics show.

Never bet any money you can't afford to lose, happily like it's small change.

Only because coaches haven't yet cottoned on the the idea that to stop Mitchell and Walker and Gagai and Johnston and Murray ...they need to have big wingers, big centres, big forwards ...all who can tackle properly, stay on their wings and in position to stop them.
And a fullback coming forward to field their grubbers, not trying to run back and get them.
Centres, wingers, halves the size of Vermin's second rowers, for example...not the size or Keary, Sam Walker, Brooks etc.

Bennett has been using the same attacking plays for decades for all his teams. The merge scored about 70% of their tries down the left side in 2010. He had Darius Boyd at fullback then. Sides still couldn’t stop it even though they knew it was coming.

Is there a game on today?

I wonder how my wallpaper's drying.

When he was discussing the matter a few weeks ago, he was very contemplative regarding stuff he hasn't yet had the chance to do, like wanting to do a lot of overseas travel etc.

I get the sense he still really loves his job.

It's very possible its something like either he or someone close to him has had a big health scare, and it's just hit home that there is more to life than being stuck in a box in a pair of headphones for hours, and working for a soulless bohemoth like Nine Entertainment.

If Souths lose there could be a big blow up & Latrell leaves & comes back to the Chooks on 500k per season or Penrith could lose & they have a big blow up with Ivan, who quits & then Nathan gets a release to the Chooks.

There's *never* anyone standing out on the wing in front of Johnston, he just accepts the passes and strolls over in the corner.
                      It's ridiculous!

Storm went to sleep last week... left Crichton out on the wing all alone and unmarked...Cleary simply kicked the ball to him and he scored in the corner.
That was beyond ridiculous, and saw the Storm beaten as a result.

Obviously defending the sideline is not a priority in the modern game...it should be.
