Buzz: The NRL’s best up-and-coming coaching talent has broken his silence on his future and reveals he's spoken to the Roosters' Trent Robinson https://bit.ly/3BuovvR

Ciraldo is generally regarded as the hottest coaching prospect in the game and was most recently linked to the Wests Tigers job, although he denied they spoke.

“Penrith gave me a three-year contract and I think it’s important to finish it,” Ciraldo said, “It’s been an enormous thrill and experience to win the premiership.”

Asked if he wanted a head coaching role for 2023, he said: “I’m not chasing anything.

“I’m still having a really good apprenticeship and ticking the boxes. There’s a few things I still want to learn. I’m not going to come out and say ‘I’m ready.’

“This is my eighth year coaching either 20s or as an NRL assistant. I’m still only 36 and I’ve got young kids, my youngest is five. I actually had a good chat to Robbo (Trent Robinson) while we’ve been up here. He actually started at 36. He gave me a few tips from what he learnt.”

I wouldn't be surprised if he coaches the Dolphins with Bennett as a coaching director.
