      Does he need surgery?

I thought he just had to strengthen it up. Guessing he's currently in the process of building himself up.

Yeah he def hasn't had surgery via what we've seen on social media.

However Nat Butcher appeared to have shoulder surgery so that's one to keep an eye on

Are we going to have to make a choice between Joey and Sam? If so who is the priority? Do we play Joey at 6 and Luke at 7 to keep Joet at the club. Or gamble on losing Joey in the hopes Sam is the star we think he is?

I don't think it's that simple. For a start, Sammy is already signed until the end of 2023 so his contract is not up for renewal anyway. If Joey gets offered ridiculous money than there's every likelihood that he will be gone. I think the club knows this and the signing of Momorovski is some sort of insurance policy if this does happen. Nobody really knows what Manu is thinking so there's a lot to play out over the next couple of months

Contracts are hardly worth the paper they are written on. If both parties are happy they work if 1 party becomes unhappy they dont work.
The player will get his money but he might not be playing for the team that is paying him.

In regards to Sammy Walker this may happen, he signs with the Dolphins for 2024 & the Roosters release him from his 2023 contract so he then starts at the new franchise in 2023. Dont think it cant happen.

Unless Sam wants to leave then I don't think he'll be gone anytime soon. Walker and Suaalii are definitely the two star players that the team will be bulit around - the new Tedesco and Keary.

I hope Sammy becomes as good as predicted at the Chooks but it's always a gamble signing Queenslanders who are top class players because for some reason alot of them want to play for a Qld team who go hard chasing them. I dont know maybe not with Sam but all his footy loving family are up in Qld & Im sure they would like the idea of watching him nearly every week live playing up in Qld. The Dolphins will go real hard for him I feel.
The jury is still out for me on Suaalii & also a little bit on Walker.
Its hard to tell how things will pan out for Suaalii. That Christian Tuipulotu was the next big thing after Tau Tau Moga & before him Ryan Williamson. I hope he turns into a world beater & doesnt always get injured.

Sammy showed alot of promise and I mean he was a Roosters fan as a kid so maybe that side will be with him, he's spoke highly of the club and Robbo so I think Sam will stay. Suaalii on the other hand does have some questions but im sure he'll come good, we could have better Latrell who can play as an world class fullback.

Yeah, agree with Mickey. I don't see Suali as a saviour but, sure, he hasn't really had a fair enough crack. Just doesn't look Rugby League in the same way that Stephen Chichton does. Handy no doubt but that's about it. Happy to be wrong mind you.

Except his father came out the other day and said Sam wants to be a one club player.

I'd be more worried about Walker leaving if Ipswich had been the successful bidder.
