Yeah they will no doubt get a big scalp.
My point sorta was Cronk Smith Slatter or Inglis never played for a Queensland NRL team and Thurston never Brisbane , so not everyone wants to go home.
    Bellamy being the obvious reason.

Thats what gives me some hope in keeping Walker anyway

Wouldnt surprise me if one of the Walker brothers that being Sams dad or uncle become an assistant coach at the Dolphins.

We don't lose too many players that we really want to keep.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is the only player that comes to mind. Problem is, we lost him because he wanted to return home as captain - could Walker be lost for the same reason?

He’s years away from being an NRL 1st grade captain if at all.

Inglis went to Brisbane... but it didn't work out because he had some outstanding business that under today's rules woulda had him stood-down indefinitely (plus probably sacked after the finding of guilt).

You're right though, not everybody wants to 'go home'. I mean at that age I went to Japan because I actively wanted to explore and wanted to be as far away from home as possible (my family's great but my brother is my mum's favourite by far and I got sick of her constantly trolling/under-rating me so basically ran away after uni).

GI Has gone home this year to play for the Macksville Sea Eagles, if it don't get cancelled at least.
I suspect he might end up playing in the front row.
