You don't understand my point- did you watch the first rush hour movie when they go into a pool room - Chris Tucker -Carter ( African American) says what up my N word to other African Americans - no issue - When Lee ( Jackie Chan) say's it all hell breaks lose in the pool room as the bar tender is offended by it - why wasn't the Bar Tender offended by it when Carter said it though - It should be offensive no matter who says it one would think.

Back in 2010 I was on my way to the Hunter Valley for my cousins wedding that week. Australian born and raised, I have an Indian background and was with my ex girlfriend (German background) at the time. We stopped at a pub in Wyong to watch the Easts v Souffs game. I think it was round 18, and remember that we won a close one. There was a middle aged couple at the table next to us who started chatting to us during the game. They both were Souffs fans and I am pretty sure were Indigenous Australians (not that it matters). They were both pleasant until close to full-time when Easts eventually won by less than a try from memory. It was at this point the bloke started to argue with me as to why Souffs were robbed. After getting agitated and failing to win the argument he stood up and said "what the F to do know 'bout footy u Fking curry C.... go support cricket" I was pissed off but rather than belt the crap out of a drunk moron I allowed the bonncer to move him along.

About 15 years ago a mate of mine (who has a Chinese background) and I were walking down Elizabeth St on our way to a nightclub. A car with 2 Asians pulled up at the traffic lights that we were about to cross. The bloke in the passenger seat yelled out at us "Harold & Kumar, White castle is that way."Not only were neither of us offended, but we thought it was funny. 15 years later I still think it was funny.

In our society we need to not tolerate racism. However we need to be better aware of when is racism actually occurring and how we react to it

Why does he need to be better? He hasn't done anything wrong; unless a horrendously low standard of rumour mongering and hearsay is enough to savagely tar Teddy's reputation.

I remember when Mike Baird basically branded SKD guilty of a far worse crime when he was 100% innocent and in fact the victim of a serious false accusation. Didn't SKD almost throw himself off a cliff because of what he went through?

And that went to court. This incident is only being tried in the trash court of social media.

So as far as I'm concerned the accusation doesn't even exist because it's so thin that it deserves ZERO airspace because any air time given to it only serves to harm Teddy's reputation.

To be fair, every time I take my wife to Chinese or Korean restaurants they start talking to her in their local language. When she responds in English they give her a weird look and just keep talking. She looks 'SE Asian' more broadly (i.e. I'd get it if somebody guessed she was from Laos/Thailand/Cambodia...etc) but I've never seen anybody from China/Korea who looks anything like her. I figure lots of people just assume anybody who looks vaguely similar is 'one of them'.

I can approximate where some people may or may not be from. However, even then there's regional differences. For example south Vietnamese are likely to have much darker skin and can be a bit more stocky than people from the north... but yeah... China abducts heaps of women from North Vietnam because they can have very pale skin and are generally a lot slimmer than Chinese people, so go figure.

IMO it's a bit like trying to tell if somebody's 'Murrican/English/Irish/Russian/French/Italian/Latvian...etc. There's various shades of 'white', people are mixed (often without knowing it) and while you can make an educated guess, you generally have to ask them. Walking around Vietnam a loooot of people think I'm Russian (I'm northern Italian) so go figure. In Japan I'm 'Murrican by default. Italy? People get confused because I look like 'one of them' but my Italian is cr@p and I dress/act like a foreigner.

Once again I repeat. It never happened!

The people in question thought they could possibly make some money by targeting Teddy.
He was with other Roosters players, but they probably worked out he was the biggest cash cow.

They aren't really that smart. He would be the last person to behave like that.
All my dealings with Teddy at charity functions he has always been very humble and respectful.
He is a very generous guy with his time and money and doesn't deserve this shit.

I was told today she has again changed her story. No doubt experienced Rugby League jurno's have been given the same information.

They know it's bullshit and when it's time Teddy will give his version.
