So...if Teddy overheard the complainant referencing an Aussie show mentioning its title...say "Survivor"...should he be offended?

Uh, sorry mate but Squid Games is not a Korean reality TV type series.. Don't remember the part where if you failed a challenge in Survior you'd die. Squid games is a fictional show where people who are in very bad debt risk their lives in order to win a bunch of money to get outta debt. In the show if the players lose the challenge, they die. Ones reality TV while the other is like a fictional horror series.

Not to come off as an SJW or anything but you've kinda misunderstood the premise of the show. As for the situation, if it turns out that these events were true then I would be significantly disappointed in Tedesco especially as the club captain and being named captain of the year this year. But nothing is confirmed as yet so I'll wait to the investigation is conducted.

I'll preface this by clarifying I am Asian and Vietnamese. If Teddy did say what he said towards that lady, it could be interpreted as being racist and he should know better.

The comments suggesting that he has nothing to be accountable for and he will never be able to open his mouth in public again are rubbish - and clearly miss the point.

I would find it surprising if footballers who have been drinking were immediately able to identify a Korean from any other Asian race (though maybe it was all about him being excited to be able to do it after watching Squid Game......or....he saw someone he thought looked like someone from Squid Game.
