I would love to go to Japan. To me the Japanese are the most under cover Asians. Not a lot of of them live out of Japan, out of all the Asian races the Japanese are the least that I have met. To me they try the hardest to be Western White, I don’t mean that in any disrespect it’s just my view. The South Koreans are very similar to me. That’s only my opinion from my life experience.

Why is it taking so long? The longer the NRL take the worse it looks for Teddy.
The two versions are in complete contrast. She claims he yelled Squid games at her and he claims he was in a private conversation.

The NRL integrity unit have spoken to James Tedesco and the women at the centre of the ‘Squid Games’ furore, with an outcome expected early next week.

Tedesco was interviewed by the integrity unit after a woman of Vietnamese descent alleged the Sydney Roosters captain had referenced the popular Netflix show in a derisory way towards her.

Tedesco insisted he was merely discussing the show with some of his mates. The NRL is expected to hand down their findings next week.

Hope it's settled soon. Now the hysteria's died down, I'm shifting toward thinking 'literally nothing happened here, why were the media told and why is it even being investigated? Some random is just grandstanding over a non-issue...'

As somebody who's lived in an Asian country (only white guy in a small town), has Italian parents (who copped heaps of racism and were thrown outta Australia during race riots) and has 'Asian' family... I dunno! Whether Tiffany overheard a drunken conversation or he reactively yelled 'aaaaw Squid Game' when seeing a group of Asian... I don't think there's anything in it. Complete over-reaction from Tiffany, who sounds like she wants a fight more than anything else.

Reminds me of a time in Cabramatta where a Vietnamese lady kept beeping her horn, swearing at me and calling me 'chicken shyte' for 'stealing' her park (I got there first). I got out and she was toe-to-toe with me (pushed & punched me a few times while yapping at me), calling me a racist and all this other shyte. Then her partner (fat dude with no English) came outta the car with a metal bar and was instructed to threaten me. As they were going on this whole rant about 'racism', my (Vietnamese) wife came outta the car with our ~6 month old son in her arms and the lady started scream 'YOU SUPPORT THIS RACIST CHICKEN SHYTE?!?!? HE SAID F-U ASIANS... GO BACK TO WHERE YOU COME FROM... SAY IT AGAIN TO YOUR WIFE CHICKENSHYTE'. Police were called and she made a whole scene about how this 'big white man' had threatened her and been racist. They reviewed CCT footage, cleared me and then I said I had no interest in pressing charges coz I just wanted to go home with my family. She wanted heads to roll. I just wanted to chill out, scoff down a decent pho, sip some bubble tea and GTFO of Cabra ASAP.

Other common things I see people making a fuss about are:
- People asking 'where are you from'? Me... 'oh I grew up in the Gong and stuff but my parents are from northern Italy... little town... blah blah blah'. Others? 'AUSTRALIA!!! HOW DARE YOU!!! Blah blah blah...'

- People telling others to shut up when they're being extremely noisy in a foreign language. Me (when I was living in a Tokyo apartment and a Japanese neighbour came around to tell us he was trying to sleep + heard lotsa loud English)... 'oh sorry man yeah no problem... hey probably time to wrap-up guys as our neighbour's trying to sleep, we can re-convene at the pub tomorrow'. Others... 'HOW DARE YOU!!!! I HAVE A RIGHT TO SPEAK IN MY LANGUAGE!!! PUT SOME HEADPHONES ON OR SOMETHING IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!! I WILL RECORD A VIDEO OF THIS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA YOU RACIST!!!'

- People referring to them as 'some [insert race] dude'. Me (again in Japan)... zero reaction. Yeah I mean technically I'm a wog and I live locally as a PR but yeah... a white guy came in and ordered a massive serve of ramen. You found it amusing that he could use chopsticks neatly like a Japanese person, speak fluent Japanese and eat 10x as much as most locals. Others? 'WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!?!? HOW DAAAARE YOU!!! I LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY!!! I HAVE AS MANY RIGHTS AS YOU!!! MY USAGE OF THE LOCAL TONGUE IS PROBABLY BETTER THAN YOURS AND I HAVE A $$$ JOB, LITTLE MAN!!! I WILL NEVER EAT FOOD HERE AGAIN AND I WILL PLASTER YOUR FACE ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA!!!'



Not to dismiss valid racism but I think some people are just entitled d!ckheads who love to grandstand about 'racism' whenever they think they can milk it. To me this is seeming more and more the case in Tiff''s circumstances. For her sake and Teddy's sake, I hope this is all dealt with quietly and we hear no more of it. Call me whatever but that's my preference with minor BS like this. Assume good faith in the first instance (rather than doing the whole toe-to-toe challenge - which will only ever escalate things) and move on unless it's a major issue that needs addressing. Which in this case... it isn't. You're calling a wog a racist because you heard him say 'squid game'. I don't think there's any serious issues that need addressing here.
