  • Whatever the Integrity Unit decides, Teddy needs to now SAY NOTHING, issue NO APOLOGY, issue NO STATEMENT.

No "I'm sorry if the lady was offended by something I said regarding a game show, words that were not directed at her".

No "for the good of the game it would be best if you issue an apology" nonsense...IF that is ever proposed.

    Not anything.
Teddy had his say at the Integrity Unit, his lawyer present.
He needs to stick to that...*religiously*.

"Look after yourself first in this world, son...because nobody else will."

    • Geez Horry where is that article from?

Smacks of anti-Rooster bias and desperation. Nothing to be concerned about.

      Sorry Souths fans.

        • Decision this week apparently.
If they find him guilty they should be made release all of the evidence into the public domain, as in a court of law.
The statements of all the witnesses should be made public.
Any CCTV footage should be released.
"Guilty". and that's it is totally not good enough.
A guilty verdict will come with a sentence for Teddy, not a prison sentence, but a sentence with possible punishment nonetheless.

            • It's not that simple...the NRL is going to bring down a verdict.
It could have major consequences for Teddy...financial and personal integrity wise.
He has a good name, hopefully he'll be able to keep it.
If found guilty, and he believes he's innocent, he should take legal action to demand to know on what basis he was found guilty.
He must fight for his good name.
              Now is the time.

IMO the NRL's in a bit of a jam because it's complete bullshit but there's reputational risks involved.

In a way it's annoying that they announced they're investigating. My guess they now pretty much HAVE to find something, even if it's coupled by a confidential agreement whereby the NRL accept there was no wrongdoing, and guarantee he'll suffer no loss as a result of it. Their media sponsors may also wish to offer him a settlement as they invented this scenario!

Guess they had to investigate, once public allegations were made.
Now they have to announce the findings of their investigation.
They should have to detail exactly what they did as their investigations.
Did they take sworn statutory declarations from every other player present?
                  Was there any CCTV available?
Did they look at it throughly?
                  What did it show?
Was the alleged victim right near the group, or across the street?
Did they interview the alleged victim?
Has the alleged victim's story changed?

They don't have to find Teddy did anything wrong if there's no concrete evidence that proves he did anything wrong.

                  • What I think will come from the investigation is the thing that always comes after an investigation, if the player is good then the player will apologies for the misunderstanding & everyone will move on, if the player is average the club will sack him.

                      • Surely this thing is utter rubbish. Teddy is the cleanest of cleanskins. I hope he sues her ass for wrongful accusations.

While May is set to spend some time out of the game, Tedesco should know his fate as early as Wednesday.

A woman of Vietnamese descent claimed Tedesco yelled “Squid Games” – a reference to the popular Korean show on Netflix – at her when the Roosters, NSW and Australian star was on a night out in the eastern suburbs nearly two weeks ago.

Tedesco, the woman at the centre of the claims and her sister have all been spoken to by the integrity unit and Abdo confirmed the NRL was close to handing down their findings.

“We have been actively investigating and hope to conclude that investigation this week,” Abdo said. “It’s a matter we take really seriously. The allegations were pretty serious, we want to make sure we do a thorough investigation and then comment on it afterwards.
