If point no.1 is true then I pity the Warriors. Imagine paying 1.1m for a mercurial centre who even now frustrates us fans from time to time over his lack of involvement.

Manu is a tremendous talent. And a difference maker. But 1.1m? What a laugh.

Just remember that the Storm recruited Brenko Lee to play centre and won a Premiership. Signing Momo is a classic Moneyball move and if Joey leaves we'll just invest that money in a more crucial area, i.e. Brandon Smith.

As for point 3 I hope it's true and Teddy clears his name.

Manu at centre can be bog average at times agree but I’m not sure I’ve seen him play poor or at least seem not bothered while at the back or at 6. He’s a natural footy player who has probably outgrown that role.. exactly like LM. It sucks but that’s footy.

The funny thing about Manu is that he seems to play better when he plays another position other than centre.
He cant play SOO to earn the extra 90k per year so I think 800-850k is what he is worth. If people on here reckon he is better than Latrell then the Chooks should offer him 900k to cover the 90k that he wont get from playing SOO. The Chooks offered Latrell 800k plus SOO money if he was fit or not suspended.

1. Can only speculate. Let's see what happens in that space. Hope he stays but like RTS and Latrell... you can't keep 'em all and throwing money at problems never fixes them. I'm confident that amongst Teddy, Toops, Suaalii, Karawalevu and Momirovski we'll have enough talent. I dare say that if Manu's leaving, Momirovski's would be a decent short-term backup while the other 2 develop into absolute freaks.

2. Sure. The fortune tells said that something good will happen in 2022. Great prediction!

3. Suing people isn't about 'the principle' and 'proving them wrong'. Most lawyers will show you the door if you come in with that attitude. Unless Teddy's lost a tangible amount of money (e.g. sponsorships, captaincy, NSW spot...etc) then he'd struggle to prove he's suffered loss as the result of somebody publishing a false statement. Further, unless she's loaded with cash (i.e. can fork out 1/2 of Teddy's salary from her back pocket), it's probably not even worth his time. I'd think he'd sue the media outlet (was it News Ltd or 9? Um...) if he was gonna go after somebody.

Tiffany Trinh has lodged a formal complaint with the NRL so it doesn't sound like she's backing off from her stance at the moment. I personally back Teddy and think that the nature of the complaint seems to involve making a VERY big deal out of what's either a fictitious claim or (at worst) a bit of randomness/weirdness.

Brandon Smith gets a week or something for snorting coke. DUI is maybe a week. Say it happened... what kinda punishment is adequate for yelling out 'SQUID GAAAAME' near some Asian people outside a pub? Current reporting is that 'she felt Tedesco was making a "joke about her race" while with his friends'. I suspect that's all that happened. Now... why was it HER who felt that and not the others if he yelled it out? If she was one random Asian person in a bigger group of mixed-race girls then the story's even less likely. Something smells off IMO.

4. Seems unlikely as their sponsors are all pretty big companies with no single owner. Let's just allow the investigation to do its course.

1. I am happy to let Manu walk for the few good games he plays a year it's not worth it. Go back and look at some of his early season games. Ran for under 50 meters in about 6 games. Missed 8 tackles v Olam.
If he wants to stay for 700k then yeah OK.
2. Brandon Smith or some big name hopefully.
3. The Teddy thing never happened. There is street cameras that show they never even interacted.
4. It was a bad plan to discredit the Roosters Nick and Teddy. I just wait for Teddy and Nick to come out and have their say.
