Sources close to Souffs... and have been reliable in the past, tell me that Inglis and Merritt are out.

They could be winding me up, but they're generally pretty close to the money.

Merritt was already announced as out I thought in the media?

Inglis has been reports as still not being 100%, but going to play anyway. This didn't sit right in my books as surely this early in the season if one of your stars is not fit, you let him rest till he is.

Would not be surprised if Inglis is a late exclusion

It's like how Crowe forced them to play Burgess against us when he was injured last season. I hope it backfires the same.

Midday news said Merritt is out with a toe injury, nothing about Inglis.

Have just got word Inglis got through training fine yesterday. Isn't 100% but will play. Merritt definitely out

Merritt out, but Inglis will play, hopefully it will end in tears like Burgess last year.

in regards our lineup the only two contentious positions are Mortimer or Mitchell with Mortimer likely to get the bench spot and Justin Carney or Tagive with Smith likely to go with Carney (most here still shaking their heads at that choice)

Maubs will do a good job on him but will need help with Inglis, just hope our cover defending forwards have him in their sights as well.

Inglis struggles to get involved at the best of times, let alone when he's carrying an injury. Might work in our favour if he does play
