Fa'a Brown, if he stays fit is a great replacement fot Lam, but I hope Lam gets a gig somewhere.

Lam is a great player, a junior and a club man,

He has huge ticker, but just can't break through to that elite level right now.

It's a shame but business is business.

He is an asset to any team looking for hard work, just look how well he improved during 21.

I'd say joining Adrian in Europe is his best bet.

I wish him the best wherever he goes.

All respect to Lam but if he can’t crack an NRL gig and his best bet at such a young age is England, than he isn’t a ‘great’ player. Maybe a great clubman and person though.

Flanno came in and lasted 1 year Lam was supposed to be the one to stick solid with and develop and he only lasted 1 season. We are very ruthless when it comes to cutting players.. hopefully Sam Verrilis is not another one if we do end up signing smith.

Lam was only ever warming the seat for Walker, he was not going to be the long term solution

Well yea but you’d think he’d still hang around. Anyways that’s footy both turned out to be duds

I noticed a defensive lapse or two from him, but he has great speed off the mark and a fair kicking game. Could be of value to an NRL club in need of depth in the halves. Talk in smh today is Brooks will be staying at Tigers. Maybe the Knights might consider him instead?

This will make my off season.

Incapable of managing out a game.

Problem is there isn't enough great players to go around. And now with the expansion things aren't going to get any better.

IMO he isnt an NRL player, just like Flanagan & Hastings before him. If you cant shine in our system with Robbo and top class players around you, you are going to look worse in a lesser club. Wish him well, I just dont think he is up.to it
He really hasn't started in many first grade games.
I believe he should try hooker as a position.
The right build. He's tough, can tackle.

i remember earlier in the season some of us questioning lams ability. others on here , shouted us down, accused us of disloyalty , whereas it was never about disloyalty to the club, lam, or any juniors. it was pretty obvious , early on, lam did not have it, whatever it is .

whereas walker was obvious after a game or 2 , that he had it.

nothing against lam, he just never looked a fg half, for mine.

                          best of luck young fella.

I feel as though Flanno was signed on top of him and seen as possessing more talent. However, Lam was the better student of the game and showed the resilience that Robbo wants (rather than crying to his dad about getting cut).

Hastings and Flanno both got their dads to give it to Robbo as if he were coaching some farking GPS 1st XV and his dad had just put $$$ into their building fund, only to find out that his son's been picked for the 2nds. Robbo rightly has zero tolerance for this kinda shyte when it's coming from adults who think they're good enough to play in the NRL. Hastings and Flanno were both the club's #1 kickers at the time. Robbo didn't give a shyte! Better to pick somebody with a bit of courage rather than be tied to whingers just because they can kick conversions.

While not connected like Lam, I think Watson was similar. He was mentally tough and a good student of the game so Robbo gave him a run. He then scored a $500k contract so moved on. Now he's back - IMO Robbo loves this kinda mental toughness above all.

That Titans game last where we ended up having to put Walker on the field for a last mintue filed goal was the last straw for me. Lam had countless opportunities to put that game away but didn't know what to do.

I understand the Walker love as he looks to have the goods but this far he has achieved nothing .Many before him have promised so much and delivered little and I have a bad feeling he may be the same , hope I'm wrong
