    Some history. We have lost to the top 4 teams 4 times each consecutively

        I have always thought that there were only 2 Dave Brown's who played for the Roosters but in actual fact there has been 3.
        I wonder why Jersey Flegg isnt held in the same aura as Dally M, Jersey Flegg is the 1st Rooster ever signed plus they have named a comp after him.
        He's not even a Hall of Famer at the Chooks.

          Jersey Flegg was Eastern Suburbs player No 1. He was instrumental in the establishment of the club. I believe he was a good administrator of the game early on. That is why they named a competition after him.

              I was told , and I’ll try to confirm, that one of Flegg’s grandchildren is involved in the Redcliffe team submission to the NRL.
