A lot of signing and upgrades to make then I guess, still 6 spots up for grabs surely 4 of them are for B.Smith and JT

Benny M is on a development contract.

No mention of Vuate Karawalevu or Lani-Graham Taufa who was on a development contract in 2021 and 2022

Kevin Naiqama has reportedly according to wikipedia signed a one year deal with the Wests Tigers for 2022. If so it may have been down to which team he had the best chance of playing consistent NRL with in 2022- Obviously the Tigers

Who the hell is JT where the hell is Vuate Karawalevu ????? If we loose this kid all the hard work we have done with Recruitment will be out the window this kid is something very special. Should be in the top 30 no doubt. What’s the go with Kevin naiquama he would be a fantastic backup for us if needed.

Noticed this morning the Roosters website - Teams page, has been updated, removing Brad Abbey, the Morris Bros, Jake, Boyd, Copley and including Connor W, Paul M and R Atoni. There are now 29 players on there including Development players. Ben Thomas still there.

I am surprised no one in the media is talking about Suaalii's contact because he's free to look elsewhere for 2023 and I thought someone might throw a big offer out to take a punt.

                        "Manu."
no brainer, can also fill-in as back-up hooker

It’s always been well known though with JS. We’re the only club that took a punt on him and tbh I think it’s still early days for him to decide whether he wants to sign on for 23 & 24 but I’m very much so on your side and wish he did it sooner rather then later.

It's a great squad. My only fear is that we haven't replaced Cords and Friend with guaranteed starters yet. Watson and Atoni are both depth players and I dunno... are Verrills, Sitili and Nat Butcher our 'replacements'?

The earliest Brandon Smith could come is 2023 (unless the Drizz wanna clear their books & focus on Golden Boy Grant... which I highly doubt given their current two punch combo is a massive winner).

So what? Round 1 we'll have Watson at #9 and Sitili/Butcher in the back row position that's not held by Crichton (11 or 12?) I know Butcher was a MASSIVE signing when we first poached him.

Is it safe to assume Robbo's plan is that:
                            - Verrills will return with a bit more bulk and his eye/confidence restored in 2022.

                            - Butcher is being groomed for potential greatness. Similarly he'll be hitting the gym in the offseason and continuing his studies at Trent Robinson University.

                            - Brandon Smith's a target for 2023, so we're unlikely to be locking up $$$ in the meanwhile.

Connor isn’t a depth signing.. he’ll be named almost every week you’d think baring injury.

I agree with the loss of players and the gap it’s left, if we lose SST early like the talk has been lately that’s an even bigger ask for the younger boys to step up. Something doesn’t add up so maybe the club us busy in the office putting together the final pieces for our squad come 2022?

Still no new news on Angus, Joey or even JS is a little frustrating considering Souths had walker sign the dotted line on the 1st.

                              Who knows what’s happening.
