With a full pre season an the time to recalibrate, in my opinion Sam walker will show case his full potential having a full team an king keary guiding the way giving Sammy much needed confidence in his game and kicking game!

it felt like everytime he took the goal kicking this year he lacked that full confidence that most kickers have by taking too long placing the ball on tee , the nerves got to him!

Yeah I feel that's where our growth will come from. Retaining our core squad and developing them. That and players like Momirovski and Watson returning.

Brandon Smith or Tariq Sims would be nice but end of the day I think it's more important that we:
- Retain Manu
- Develop Verrills, Suaalii, Butch and a few others as they'll be massive once they hit their straps
- Welcome back the likes of Collins and Keary (I mean say you're our opposition and you signed them... you'd be throwing $$$ at them as marquees. Sure we survived without 'em but I reckon they'll add massive value to our squad)

If we can do this while Souffs, Pemriff and the Drizz lose a few key players, our squad's totally premiership material.

I really am looking forward to seeing giants like Manu, Suaalii, Toops, Teddy and Momirovski terrorise Souffs with a sorta push-pull momentum of Keary & Walker offering their personalities in attack. It's gonna be champaign footy...especially seeing Souffs go to the shyter.

I read or heard somewhere that Suaalii has activated his player option for 2023 and is staying commenting that he is happy the way the Roosters are managing his football career.

The Volkster (Ronald Volkman) will hopefully be developed too now that he is on the Development list and will be training full time with the NRL squad.

As far as goal kicking goes Walker needs to put a bit more oomph into his kicks and strength and size in his the legs

Who the hell is JT where the hell is Vuate Karawalevu ????? If we loose this kid all the hard work we have done with Recruitment will be out the window this kid is something very special. Should be in the top 30 no doubt. What’s the go with Kevin naiquama he would be a fantastic backup for us if needed.

Always Interesting the discussion about publishing NRL wages and whether they should be published or not as it would clear up a lot of confusion or innuendo.

In MLB and i think other Major US sports players wages/contract periods are published including each teams payroll and what not- NY Yankees top the list with the their 26 player roster for season 2022 costing a cool $ 226,619.049 USD

i hope you are right Davo! This contract is verrry underrated on here we all know how big the potential is for JS.. teddy's true replacement so very important we keep him here.
