Bennett just oversees the teams prep as he delegates the day to day grunt and graft work to his assistants.- All head coaches are like that nowadays they have attack and defence coaches and employ kicking and positional coaches as consultants as well.

I don’t believe he was EVER that good…the majority of his premierships were won when he basically had the QLD origin team at his disposal at the broncos (pre salary cap days)….he scammed the 2010 crown on the back of BS reffing decisions (eg nightingales foot about 2m into touch and still allowed to play on), resulting in a try….right there for 80000 people to see- but not the ref or touchies. He failed at Newcastle, he failed at the vermin.
So no, the “super coach”, not so super really.
