Maybe its the angle of the photo, maybe its been photoshopped, maybe its because its Keary behind him......or maybe its something i want to see so much that my eyes are playing tricks on me.....but Sam Walker is looking a lot more buff in that photo.

At 6ft....and a potential 10-15kg to be added to his frame in the next 3 years- he is by no means going to be a "small" player. Add to that his tackling technique is very sound and he is tough as hell- i guarantee that his size and defence wont be an issue in his career.

He's looking good! The fact that he told trent what he needs to work on tells us all Sammy is very focused! Focused at that age means the sky is the limit for sammy, size will definitely help out with his kicks out of our own half what he was lacking this year!good onya sammy keep it up

I was so skinny at that age I would have been broken in two playing against men. Sam is just going to get better and better. I do hope he can work on his kicking though.

If you go back and look at old photos of players entering first grade, most are smaller/skinnier than they are now. Look at JWH for example, way slimmer then.

Sam will grow.
