Overrated team in the comp, I've noticed they are 3rd in the markets (and ahead of us) for the premiership, I'd like to know why. We all know they're a one man team and to think sportsbet rates them higher than us, it's laughable. They were a million to one to win the comp last year, they had no hope and I don't see an iota of improvement for 22. They flogged our reserves, big deal. I'm stating right now that they won't be one of the fancys for the comp.

Young talented team all staying together so of course they will only improve. I have them on par with us not ahead - their pack can easily match ours as well as their spine.

I think Souffs showed the comp how to control Turbo's attack in the PF. He is a gun but the good teams will catch on and limit his influence

I think they are equal with us but the bookies are generally close to the mark.

I think we will finish ahead of them on the ladder thanks to a better draw.
The top 8 never really has the team from best to worse in the correct order, some teams get an easier draw.
I would love to see the season shortened to play each other once alternating home and away every second year.

Parramatta fans thought they were bound for a premiership this year with them being so high up on the ladder thanks to a soft draw, come the business end they got found out.

I think Parra are the most overrated team in the comp.

Commentators giving them a chance the last couple of years and even next year are deluded.

To say that without Turbo they are nothing is a stupid comment. Of course without him they are nothing but he was there at the end of the season and they finished 4th. If he is there at the end of the season next year they will be about the same.

It's like saying without Cleary, Reynolds, Ponga, Gutho, etc those teams are nothing.

I left Easts and Storm out as they need 5 or 6 out to have the same effect.

But you should judge a team at full strength not without their best player and at full strength Manly should finish 4th or 5th again next year. They haven't signed anyone who will improve them more than this year so they won't challenge for the premiership.

But you are right Coggy. Manly are unders and we are well overs. Easts should be favourite imo. Panthers and Storm also unders. Parra should be 50/1 and everyone below them should be 1000/1 or more.

I think a massive factor is that Trbo isn't over-rated... he's THE best player in the comp (Teddy's a better captain/leader but IMO Trbo's the physical specimen). DCE is also one of the best HBs in the game (the best right now? Name a better one other than Cleary). Not saying I like them, but if Trbo stays fit then I think their chances are right up there.

Well you tell me in what way they are better than us. And how as you suggest their pack can EASILY match ours. I haven't done a study on it but I would be very surprised if you could come up with evidence based on things like, number of games, rep honours, average metres per game, or any other key statistic, please give me some facts. I would be very interested in seeing them.
