Origin women to be paid the same as men

It's like saying the local pub band wants the same money as a top line artist. Only way it gets air is because of the PC brigade. Let them play it as a stand alone game, and get a percentage of the gate receipts and TV rights.

I think the 15k they get includes some of the costs to actually get them there and accomodation and what not so it’s not the exact same wage.

The womens game doesn’t have the revenue to support this but if the mens game is doing well enough to afford it without cutting into grass roots or other important funding areas then I’m okay with it.

However people who don’t understand why their is a gap in womens/mens sports are irrelevant imbeciles, it’s the same reason why actors/athletes get paid far more than the police/ambos/nurses. It really doesn’t have to be explained it’s just really really (really) obvious.
