I dont think Teddy gets 1.2 M per season, I dont even think he gets 1M it would be close though.
The Chooks through their investment arm would be able to turn Teddys 950K per season into 1.2M but he wouldnt be 1.2M on the books. Its not cheating in what the Chooks are doing they have the people who can shrewdly invest players money in investments that pay out more than what the player puts in.

Name me one other prop forward who churns out 60-70 mins a game and has the ability to chase down James Tedesco late in the game.

The 1.2 could come Im not disputing that but I dont think the Roosters will offer him that money. 800k plus they invest his money & it pays out 1M per year. If the bloke wants to win comps ChookMaster he will come for unders (800K) & pick up his 90K from SOO & then what ever he earns for Australia. The Chooks will financially set him up for life after footy, he's not gonna miss out if he comes for 800K a year to the Chooks. The club is very good at not cheating the cap & being able to pay multiple players good coin through investments.

He's the best prop in the game after JWH.

We really need to build our own Payne in the Haas. From the ground up...will be similar talents emerge in the next few years.

He’s good, no doubt about it.

JFH is in a great system surrounded by great local talent and players.

Haas has been the shining beacon for a poor team over the last 2 years. It’ll be interesting to compare them at seasons end.

I’m definitely a Haas fan but no way will he paid 1mill or more at the roosters. Whilst he’s top shelf prop, no prop is worth more than 800-850 . Your spine players will demand most of the cap % , and the rest have to divvy up the $$$$

You need superstars to win comps. You can never have too many. When JWH goes we will loose our aura. Collins has potential but is yet to play a full season in first grade. Plus SST will be gone too.
