Well here goes ... as many of you know I am in Hong Kong. I stayed back in the office today to watch a stream and ended up there well past my quitting time. Was cursing the boys in the second half. They looked putrid. With 6 minutes to go I thought they looked completely impotent and pulled the plug

Then I spend 30 minutes driving home in a dark, dark mood. Like many of you I don't always takes losses well. I need a good hour to calm down. So I drove home cursing the world, thinking about how much I hate my job, all the people I want to kill, what the fark is wrong with Brian Smith, etc, etc, etc.

Get home, turn the computer on and see the boys have staged a miracle. Fark me. Welcome to the Roosters Rollercoaster. I think I'm going to be sick

So have you seen a replay of Mini's miracle try? We couldn't conjure that play up in another thousand years.

You weren't the only one! I'm ashamed to say I turned Triple M off with a couple of minutes to go to watch Revenge on Channel 7 (how apt!) but kept the computer on to monitor the score on NRL.com. Well, the screen refreshed and stated the scoreline at 80 minutes was 20-18 to them. I sent a text to a friend and I said 'Pity about the score!" She messaged back saying, "No, love the score!" Stupid NRL website!! Move faster you idiots!! Of course, I could have turned Triple M back on but was too beside myself to think straight..

I was ready to leave with 10 minutes to go. I was there physically, but my attention was elsewhere and I didn't think there was a chance in hell we would win. As it turns out, the two Souffs fans I was with left early: they were up and out of the stadium before Mini's try was declared a try by the video ref. Mum and I were two very happy Chookies on the way home.

You peckerhead! However, I don't feel sorry for you, cos you are goose, but I feel sorry for your poor wife who would have got the silent treatment and the little doorman downstairs who would have been given the evil eye. Never give up, never give up!

LOL@ me twirling my Roosters Chic umbrella yesterday in celebration. Bit wasted on a Melbourne crowd though..I guess it would have been more effective if it had actually been raining:

I don't think many of us managed to watch the whole game on tele MRHK. By the middle of the second half I was so frustrated and cranky I switched over to My Kitchen Rules instead. I'd switch back every so often and switched over right as MKR ended as I was taping Revenge and lo and behold there was Mini crashing over the line. Of course the barstard ref had to send it to the video ref so I sat there stunned whilst it given the all clear. It took me a few seconds to register we'd actually won as the last score I'd seen was 20-12. Started spontaneously clapping and giving the finger to the Vermin fans on tele (yes I know they couldn't see me). And Fox then rewarded me with such wonderful scenes of the tearful toothless loser Vermin faithful it was winning all over again.
