I get the impression that Bouris’s passion for The Roosters is about one tenth of Nick’s.

There is only one uncle nick, and may he live forever, maybe only Robbo could share his passion, but not his power.

It still has me bewildered how packer up and deserted our great club for the scum. Yes, by all counts packer is not half the business man his dad was (losing gazillions in casinos etc), but back in the day I was led to believe he was a Rooster supporter. Perhaps he was more interested in joining club “fat- ass” with his bum chum rusty and imagined being seen with a past it hollywood actor would raise his profile?
Made me laugh to see fat shack in the pointsbet ads also….rusty is building a cellulite bunny empire.

Go the mighty Chookies…and long may you live uncle Nick.

I believe rusty is a big share holder in the packer corporation and he got packer to come over to the dark side.

James Packer has issues, f'ing big ones, I don't want him anywhere near our club.

I find that pretty weird too.

But rumour has it that he's absolutely all over the show. Not the full quid.

Crowe latched onto Packer when he was trying to make it as a Hollywood producer with RatPac. They seem to have become close then.

I think Packer was never more than a casual fan of our club, even when he was on the board. Unlike his mate Gyng, who could name you sides from the 1980's and bleeds red, white and blue.

we've been very lucky to have nick. hard to see how the club would have survived in the 90s without him. never played the game but he's probably the most imp rooster ever. how else could a club like the roosters survive given the changing demographics of the east?!

In the future, a statue of uncle Nick is a must at our new home ground. There will never be another. Bouris, although next in line, doesn't seem to have the same crazy Easts DNA that Nick has shown for decades. Hope I'm wrong.
