I think it’s a disgrace that people on here still think Mitchell is relevant. He’s played for another club for two years now. Us continually commenting on him shows how much we miss him. It’s time to forget about him and move on. I wish this thread would disappear.

for me it's an easy one - i don't have an obsession about souths, so i'd have preferred that it hadn't happened but for those who can't bear souths to win a game, let alone a comp it's a bit rich for them to still go on about latrell when the incident, in the big scheme of things, produced a good result for them

I remember rumours doing the rounds at the time (never confirmed as true or false) where that Robbo had to spend so much time and effort babysitting Latrine that he couldn't invest enough 1:1 time with the rest of the playing group.

Anyways IMO Latrine is like a bad ex-girlfriend.... great in bed but a bitch outta of it. After a while the sex ain't worth the trouble. Even though the bitter taste remains for a little while, once you have moved onto another you are far better off. Then one day you see them walking down the street with some other poor soul (in this case its Souffs) and you thank your lucky stars that she's not your problem anymore.

For me - I think Latrell is extremely fragile, like real fragile- senior roosters always seem to hold back saying anything negative about him regardless of his behavior. I remember watching the five roosters discuss the grand finale on fox when Latrell needlessly shot out of the line leaving BJ wide open. Cronk was going to say something but held back, later he overpraised Latrell for his part in Teddy's try. That was near the worst defensive error all year and nothing was said. And when Robbo went around to Latrells to discuss Latrells travelling public relations contract negotiations. Latrell makes out he was so surprised that the roosters dumped him and Robbie apparently said nothing when he visited Latrell. He really did a number on Robbo's character (like Robbo who can't stop talking said nothing). Robbo didn't defend himself, which leads me to think they take a softly softy approach which while at the roosters led to a lot of 1;1 time.

Yeah this doesn't make sense to me as he was also going to be the first player given a Premiership Ring if Souths won even if he wasn't playing..... Who in the NRL is making these rules for everyone else but separate ones for Latrell?
