hate to say he will win a premiership with souths over the next few years.
but the roosters will win a couple before 2030 to. i think and prob double what souffs win.

[QUOTE=Bondicigar;n915523]Originally posted by NorfolkStreetKid View PostMitchell will go the way of many other indigenous stars. Over weight, under fit. Chips on both shoulders. Serious injury is a certainty, and lacking the willpower to get through a recovery, I predict a short future for him.
That sums up countless white players career's falling short.
Enough of your racist shit , there is no need for it.

Complete bs he has done his ACL, reposting things on his instagram today of him on a kids motorbike trying to do a wheelie (falling off) and was completely fine moving his knees when getting up off the ground.
Next story and next fake rumour please...

IMO their window of opportunity has dissolved.
Without the experienced Reynolds and his superb kicking game as well as a rookie coach their cycle will recommence and take at least 4 years to come full circle
They can watch on with envy!

Much too risky. Why would you post it on Instaglam and bring it to the attention of nervous club officials.
For all his skill and natural ability for mine he's too hot to handle.
There's good reason why RWB officials waved sayonara, good riddance. Someone else's problem to manage.

He’s my most-hated player and he should be the same for anyone that saw that game last season and calls themselves a roosters fan. Not just what he did to Joey, which I accept was probably an accident, but how he behaved straight after, how he carried on for the rest of the game and what has happened ever since. That on top of the constant disrespect he has shown our club since he was shown the door.
He’s on my “ACL” list. That means if he blows his ACL I pop a cork. It doesn’t mean he has blown his ACL.
To the likely responses let me save time and say I have no intention of “getting over it”.Last edited by Johnny Tobin; 12-26-2021, 02:06 PM.

On top of this I couldn't miss 3 drug tests. Long story short I was at uni, was juggling various jobs and had to drive out to Homebush/Bankstown for training. I had to say exactly when/where I was training and if I wasn't there when testers randomly showed up, I got a strike. No joke, I was sitting on 2 strikes and almost got suspended from competition because I had strikes for:
- Traffic on Parramatta Road was absolute BS (my coach and I were 30 minutes late to training and the testers refused to wait around).
- I was sick. In the morning I did a massive weights session while I had the flu (often couldn't tell the difference between being sick and my muscles aching from training). I finished up in the gym (Golds off Oxford st) feeling horrible, ate a big plate of sushi (at that Duffy's supermarket building), lay down when I got home and woke up around dinner time the next day with a massive headache (all dehydrated and stuff). Text message... strike 2... you weren't at training in the arvo when they came.
- I had exams one day when they came and didn't sleep at all (last minute cramming). Did my final exam then drove to training early. I then slept in the car. A training buddy knocked on my window and was like 'duuuude they're looking for you!!! They'll leave if you're not there in 5!!!' I was like aaaaw faaaark... ran over and gave them their p!ss (I was the least likely dude to cheat FWIW... 100% clean... I didn't even drink alcohol).
IMO the NRL contracts are quite lenient. Be interesting to see how other elite sports contracts compare. Pro contracts might be different but I feel a bit jealous that guys on $$$ can get away with using coke, going on regular benders, doing dangerous activities...etc when I was scared shyteless that I'd lose my little stipend if I did any of that (includes almost losing mine because I was with a hot but flaky as fark/unreliable girl who always went out, partied hard with dodgy people then got me to pick her up at 3am when she got into strife... my A test was positive for trace amounts of weed because she got into my car after smoking bongs and stuff... B was negative though fortunately). It was pretty intense at the time though... like I did nothing wrong but could get into trouble incidentally to how the rules operated.Last edited by ism22; 12-26-2021, 04:07 PM.

Classic case of rules for one and rules for others when it comes for The Vermin. This will come back and bite them hard when a less notable player screams unfairness if they're disciplined for a like thing.
Souffs are so invested in Mitchell and his grubby mate Walker that they choose to turn a blind eye or hit them with a feather when they screw up.
Pre Robinson days our own club was guilty of the above (just ask poor Noycey and the like) but TRobbo & Uncle have done a worthy job of turning this around - Jake Friend is a case in point.
Under Smith he and Carney were recalcitrants off the field when it came to alcohol and prescription tabs however, TRobbo lobbed and straightened him and another out and turned them into premiership leaders.
