  • Angus?

Does anyone have any new news on him resigning? Everyone else has signed the dotted line but him just wondering what the hold up could be?

I believe he signed an extension to stay with us till the end of 2024.

Not too concerned really. I’d be happy for him to stay for less money cause he’s just not as good as he needs to be on the money he is reportedly getting.

I think it’s done - just not announced yet. They may be holding it back for the season launch.

I think Kearys return will coincide with Angus recapturing his best form . Some of the lines he was running last year where starting to look Cordner like.

We need Angus as our second rower to fill in for cordner.
The young guys will do the job but we need Angus to be our main second rower.

Without Angus we have Egan and Stilli.
Sorry but both are ok............. not premiership winners.

Bring back Matto if he wants to come over on the cheap?

He was one of our best in 2020. One of our most disappointing in 2021.

A haircut may change things. Hard to take him seriously running around with a ponytail.

Second row is arguably our weakest position. For years it was one of our strongest.

Nah he cries too much. I’d prefer the bloke with the pony tail.

If Egan Butcher was given 1st crack at a backrow spot who knows what would happen, he could turn out Cords like within 12 months & play rep footy.
Sitilli is a very good backrower in my book, he'll get picked for NZ or Tonga for sure, he's now 24 & 101kg's he will get better, Hughie McGahan style.
Matto doest play it hard enough thats why the Chooks released him.

Sitili craps all over Matto. I thought his progression this year was one of our highlights.
