Crightons not bad either.
If I did a combined backline between the Chooks & Panthers it would be this
Teddy Rooster
Tupou Rooster
Manu Rooster
Crighton Panthers
To'o Panthers
Luai Panthers Keary Roosters
Cleary Panthers
On current form I pick Luai over Keary but Keary is a gun.
however if i was starting up a new club and could sign any player i wanted n cleary would be it . i bet old man benny would love his signature .

Calm down, no need for insults, but if you throw them I will fire back.

Potentially the best backline in the comp.
If Suali Smith and Walker fill there potential then yes I agree with your call.
Not there just yet but could change in 6 weeks
Teddy
Toops
Momi
Manu
Suaali
Keary
Walker
I think it more than matches any other backline

Hey, were you drunk when you wrote that? It’s okay if you were. No shame in that.
To’o is the best winger on the planet right now and you want to compare him to JS. Madness

I admire your passion for our club but maybe sometimes you should remove the red, white and blue goggles. It’s a big call to say we have the best backline when nobody here actually knows who our halves combo will be and who will play in one centre position and one wing position. Maybe we potentially have the best backline.
Teddy, best fullback in the comp
Keary Best 5/8 in the comp
Toops, in the top 3 wingers in the comp
Manu, voted by all NRL players as the best centre in the comp
Momi, I rate him highly, at least top 8 in the comp
Suaali, here we have to take potential into account, so potentially in the top 4 wingers in the comp
Walker, showed me enough last year to think he will perform as one of the top 4 halves in the comp.
That's my judgement, let's see how it goes.

On current form -
Teddy is not the best FB in the world
Kezza is not the best 6 in the world
JS is no where near being considered a top tier back due to “ potential “ his mate penisini has achieved more and has same ceiling of potential.
I will give you credit though. Your response is what this thread was created on.
Although, at seasons end things will change. HopefullyLast edited by ChookMaster; 01-19-2022, 06:11 PM.

Munster is the best 5/8 in the game followed very closely by Cody Walker, Keary is also a champion. The Roosters have a better backline than Souths & its as good as Melbournes but not better.
To'o is the best winger in the game but the Roosters have a better backline than Penrith without Burton & Momo.
Justin Olam is the best centre in the game but Manu is a champion player who can play multiple positions.
Suaalii on form wouldnt be in the top 10 wingers in the game. Potential, we'll see.
Cleary is the best number 7 in the game which has taken 6 years to achieve but I think Sam could be the guy to reach Clearys achievements in about 4 to 5 years. The Roosters have a better backline than Penrith if everyone is fit.

I find Keary to be bizarrely underrated. He's won 3 Premieships - played a crucial role in each one.
Cody Walker has won zero. He threw an intercept pass to win one for Penrith I guess. By what metric is he better than Kezza.
And Munster can't even ball play. He's a fantastic player but one I find to be highly glorified by the media. He stunk it up in the Prelim. As he did in the 2019 Prelim and the 2018 GF.
