I agree. I still think Taka is ahead of Arona at this point. I see him as a fringe player with potential. It was not that long ago that nobody here could care less about Guerra or Taka but they have certainly come of age. Hopefully Arona and some of the other young forwards can do the same this year.

**** that is an ordinary squad.

On paper, we should put 30 on them easily. Shut down Lewis/Walsh and they will fall to shit.

Then again, we ALWAYS seem to lose when fielding a "better" side.

The 'riff are our farking bogey side..

It goes back to Brian putting that curse on them..I wish he would lift the thing, they've beaten us in a GF since he implemented it..

And Joel Clinton's speech to them at halftime in the SFS game against them in '03("I'm sick of losing every week")..

I'll take a scratchy win & the 2 competition points & no injuries..

Can't tell much from that either, boys probably won't all train until tomorrow (recovery and video today) so these teams are just copy/paste jobs.
I'm surprised Peni Tagive in't named there. Maybe he's been on standby for the 1sts? Apparently Henry had a big game on the weekend for the Jets and will no doubt be in the mix if changes are made to the backline.

It isn't the best looking squad, but we did look fairly ordinary in attack. Hopefully with Anasta back the Roosters will have a bit more composure and structure. I'm still not sure if Jnr Jnr offers enough authority on the field to get the backs and forwards in the positions he wants them in. I think Anasta will give the refs a bit of stick as well which was much needed and probably missing last night.

This from the Rooster's website, the preview article:

"There is also talk there could be changes out wide for the Roosters, but the club will reveal those closer to kick-off."
Moga, SKD in? Maybe Tagive? If so it would mean Maubs to the 2nd row, JCarney out, Arona drops off the bench, BJ out??? What do we think the real shape of the team will be, selection headaches for Smitty, a good problem to have I suppose.

Are we trying to win the dwarf throwing Cup?

Mitchell, Morts, Maubs, Jr Jr, Carney, Friendy are all under 100kg and under 5 ft tall

The coach is an even smaller midget.

Beware of an ordinary Penrith side playing us on our home ground on a Sunday afternoon. I tell you now they have pulled our pants down on many occasion.

In regards to the team I can only see Moga or SKD coming into the side moving Maubs to the backrow with Arona to drop out.
If Anasta plays Mitchell or Mortimer will drop out.

So it will be pretty much the same team.

You make me laugh, he will be in the run on side untill he is injured. Smith highly highly rates him.

So you keep saying, I was merely throwing up possible scenarios, what with the speculation that there will be late changes. Jury is still out for me in regard to JCarney.
