He wouldnt of been the outside back that I would have chased but people like Robbo know more than me like him.
I posted late last year that the Chooks should go after Curtis Scott & look how that turned out. TIT

Look at his arms with all the veins popping out.
    He looks fit & strong.

JWH practicing for what he's gonna say to Latrell in Rd 3.
Its something along the lines of "Come to Daddy, Im gonna farkin smash you"

The look after he smashes him.

Jeez, the Roberts clan are amazing as far as turning out footballing talent is concerned. There is some wonderful indigenous emerging talent in the game - Kennedy at the Sharks, Campbell at the Titans and the young Fullback at the Tigers.

None of them come close to Latrell but yes it is wonderful having Indigenous talent playing the game.
The thing I like about Indigenous players is their aggression they all have a bit of mongrel in them.

JWH still has that hunger in his eyes what’s he now 32? He will have another big season, the big fella doesn’t look like slowing down and I hope he keeps on going and going, no reason why he can’t kick on to 35-36.

I love Aubo a lot but JWH at the top of our most capped list would be very fitting.

I’m too young to have seen Artie but he’s easily our best prop since. The win percentage with him out shows his importance to us. His stats aren’t bad, sometimes his stats are insane but he’s so much more than what’s on paper.

                      I hope he plays forever.

Artie had more skill but was not the fittest bloke where as JWH is much much much more fitter & plays a heaps more physical style game.
I saw Artie play when I was young, I even have his autograph but if I had to pick between them in the current format of the game I would go JWH.
I dont remember Artie being as physical as JWH. When Artie played they tackled around the legs & there was no structured defence. The game was dirtier back in the day but it wasnt as fast & brutal as it is now.

i love jwh because he is a grub and a bully.

despite the protests of some on here he is a grub.

he is the kind of guy most oppossing players say " oh fark, were playing that carnt next" .

i do think some of the real nrl tough guys ie gall, s burgess , jwh , cords, jfh love the conflict and maybe getting hurt and returning in kind....

How old are you Mickie? I'm a 67 drop and saw Artie at the back end of his career. He could mix it up when he wanted too and would certainly have gone toe to toe with JWH if required. The surprising thing with Artie was actually his speed off the mark. Watch some of the highlights from 75 and you will see times where he left defenders grasping off a standing start. I think back to the first ever SOO game and he went after the NSW pack physically that night. He could intimidate if he needed to
