18 days till Leichhardt Oval

I cant wait.
I walked my dog past there yesterday & the ground looks unreal. I love Leichhardt Oval & Im looking so forward to the trial match on the Friday night of the 18th.
I dont like how members have to pay to watch trials but I know the free entry days are over for trials unless your boss can get you in for free like mine can but otherwise I would be up for the $15-$20 to get in mainly because its at Leichhardt. If you can get there it will be well worth it.

Can't get there in time after work, unfortunately. Great view from the stand there! I was there to watch our feeder team at the time - the mighty Newtown Jets - play their semi-final games the year they won GF in 2012, in which Mose Masoe, Daniel Mortimer and Justin Carney starred in a thrilling come from behind win against Norths (though as it happened right in front of me, I can confirm that their late short kick-off didn't go ten metres, and Carney should've been penalised....oh, well, bit late now!)

Yes, all trial games will now be televised on FOX - about time too!

Damn that was epic ay!!! Garbage year for Easts but seeing all these dudes win for Newtown (plus Morts being lifted up as the hero at the end) was epic.

I miss the 'Lebbos with drums' who support the Blue Bags. Nothing beats a game at Leichhardt that involves Newtown/Wests/Norths...etc. Always a great day out!

What happened to Morts outta interest? He had that gun season with Parra, came to us as a solid #14, won a premiership with us then was never really seen again.
