I would like peoples opinion on the club making JWH a priority to stay at the club beyond this season.

If at prop long term and currently 23 years old his best years are well ahead of him. He will mature as a player as he gets older ( better displine & less penalties).
Always puts in and is a winner,
Potentially long term has the makings as one of the best forwards in the game, takes no prisoners ( we need an aggresive player up front at the moment, we currently have a lot of young pups in the ranks and need this type of player long term. I believe he is worth the extra money needed and we just need to be realistic and let some forwards go when the time comes.
Props only improve with age & I hope the coach locks in a contract for Hargraves (JWH).

I agree. Of course it is going to come down to $$$$. If it is possible to keep him then absolutely. But if you think about our forwards and add SBW into the deal then it would seem someone has to go. Personally I would nominate Tom Symonds.

I think his discipline has improved.

There are a few others I'd get rid of before JWH.

Plays more minutes than most of our props.

His best years are ahead of him. A must long term re-signing.

from what i noticed on monday was that smith had him in more of a lock role at some points in the game.... it really suited him!!

I'd keep him. We've put so much work into him it would be a waste, and he can only improve with maturity.

I'm positive we will sign him for 2-3 years. My issue will be keeping him when that contract expires, he will be a his peak (26 or 27) at that time and demanding top dollar!

The other point I would like to make is JWH whenever interviewed has stated he likes the club & wants to stay.
Enough said as far as I'm concerned, must be kept on a 3 year deal ... start making some noise for this to happen guys.

I know that Smith is not interested...our forwards are freakin FINE AS THEY ARE. They will be the best pack in the NRL within 2-3 years if kept together.

With Maloney on the way we only have one missing piece to a champion team - a Fullback. Any we could already have our man in Tuivasa-Sheck, or even Moga when he matures a little
