In an article in RLW about JWH his manager is meeting the Roosters this week.

I'd definitely like to keep JWH. He reminds me a little of Mark Harris - I know different positions, but they have that intimidating factor about them. Plus I've had enough of Bulldogs leftovers to last a life time; O'Meley, Mason, Kouparidiot, Anasta. I honestly don't think we need or can afford SBW.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

The easy solution to this is that we ditch the salary cap.

It is an unfair restraint of trade.

No cap, we field JWH and SBW. And that's just the beginning.

I can take him or leave him. If he heads to the dogs I won't lose any sleep.

No cap and JWH would be at Manly.

I would keep him. I thought he started to mature a lot at the back end of last season and his performance on Monday night showed that he has continued that improvement. He could end up being our 'Gallen' as he hast started to play more and more minutes. I'm still not convinced that we will sign SBW as a back rower. I think he could end up being one of our centres

I will sign a petition and one to ban SBW who will eat up all of our salary cap !! Do we want to keep Cordner, JWH, Tasi, Guerra, etc or sacrifice 3 of them for SBW who is a talent but uncommitted (boxing is a priority as well)

He already is demanding top dollar. We have younger props than him that show as much ability as Jaryd did at his age that are not demanding more money.

do we know exactly how much money he is demanding and how much money other players with similar potential are on or would be demanding once they come off contract?

they guy does alot of other stuff aside from his increasingly good performances on field. he's definitely a fan favourite and his aggression adds that much more excitement to a game even if it is just a bit of push and shove. the kid also markets himself and the club well and is very jovial and charasmatic as seen with his various stints on roosters tv. and apparently hes a favourite of the sponsors and takes the time to entertain them at functions which is invaluable!

Agree with this. He is a personality player. We should keep him but not if he is asking ridiculous amounts. It's a balancing act with the cap.

I would happily see the back of any of Perrett, Arona, Guerra, Symonds, Taikarangi, Nuuausala, Mitchell or Justin Carney for the sake of keeping JWH/Tasi long term.

In some cases, those I let go probably deserve to stay, and have a fair bit of talent, but Tasi and Heargraves MUST be kept. They will be the best forwards in the game in three years time. Heargraves looks to be bigger this year, and I'll reiterate what others have said - the guy is a big game player. We need those.

Let SBW come. He will be good for the club. But JWH MUST, MUST, MUST be kept.

Aggressive prop, leader, big game player, loves the Roosters. I say pay a bit more to keep him. There are others that can go to free up the dollars (FPN, Symonds, Arona, even guys like Taka and Guerra).

Against the Rabbits, I thought our pack looked like boys playing against men. The exception was JWH. Although he is young, he already has the leadership skills to help bring the other guys through.

In terms of managing our cap, we need to focus on keeping the nucleus of the team and I think JWH should be part of this nucleus.

There are a lot of people that say you shouldn't be spending top $ on your props, but props like Webke, Civoneceva, Lazarus and our own Adrian Morley have been invaluable to their respective teams.

Quite simple. JWH will end up at whichever club offers him the most money.
                                It ain't rocket science!
In saying this, who could blame him? His ability to earn good money is only for a short period of time.
