do we know exactly how much money he is demanding and how much money other players with similar potential are on or would be demanding once they come off contract?

they guy does alot of other stuff aside from his increasingly good performances on field. he's definitely a fan favourite and his aggression adds that much more excitement to a game even if it is just a bit of push and shove. the kid also markets himself and the club well and is very jovial and charasmatic as seen with his various stints on roosters tv. and apparently hes a favourite of the sponsors and takes the time to entertain them at functions which is invaluable!

I read he wants 400k but of course one hears a lot of numbers bandied around, the point is the club looked elsewhere for a replacement for Jared and seems to have found one , happy to join the club for 270k and he really looks the goods. Maybe JWH. believes he is worth a lot more money but the club does'nt seem to share that belief.

If $400k is the number then I def dnt think he is worth this much. although the club did pay a similar figure for a prop/lock in nate myles.
im hoping some sort of comprmise can be worked out with the lure of his confessed love of the club, the good friends he'll be playing with, and the distinct difference between the liklihood of success in a few years at the chooks over parra, all supplementing the value he gets from his salary.
like many of said before it would be a tradgedy if the hastily made decisions to resign certain players prevented us from keeping JWH.
