Suaalii says he doesn’t care what position he plays but he said he played 5/8 growing up & that he likes League much more than Union.
    Great insight Mickie mun.

You both could be right but Im just saying what was said to me. Luke Keary is tiny I dont know how he survives imn the NRL the tough little mofo.
On Suaalii he's tall but he's not as big as Israel Folau was when he debuted & Daniel Tupou looks bigger than him. Once he gets to 105kgs he'll be a big boy.

All the Chooks main players are sitting together near where they run out.
Suia (Joshua) Wong is playing SG Ball currently - was a real handful last SG Ball Season so when that comp finishes i assume he will get some Jersey Flegg Game time- one of 5 Chooks selected for the emerging blues squad along with Egan Butcher/Thomas Deakin/Tyler Moriarty/Joseph Suaalli

Robbo said neither Tedesco or Keary are playing next week - Tedesco should be okay for round 1 but Keary in doubt - be assessed in the next couple of weeks

Im getting my info from the Roosters website that says he's 98kg's.

I'd believe the players before the cagey coach in a presser.

Bondi Paul is your Pic - Paul Weller- I don't think Bruce Foxton or Rick Buckler spoke to Paul Weller for over 20 years. Even though they have somewhat made up Weller and Foxton mostly there wont be any reformation or re-union.

Although when Glen Frey was asked when the Eagles will play together again he replied " when hell freezes over " - they did though although it wont be the same line up again if they did since Frey passed away and Felder has filed multiple law suits against Henley and Frey and Frey's estate,

So it would be when hell freezes over if Henley would ever have Felder back in any capacity.

Yes King it’s Paul Weller. As for The Eagles, they never did it for me unlike Weller’s ex D C Lee.

If so their mum & dad have a thing for boys names that start with T & sort of sound the same.
Imagine if Xavier Va'a comes on & kills it Paine Hass style.
Egan Butcher & Baker Fletcher have obviously advanced up the pecking order.
What about Siua Wong, have the Chooks got the only Chinamen playing the game?
#17 Xavier Va’a at 18yrs 3mths, 7weeks adjusting to nrl squad training & Sydney life, with 1.5 SGBall games coming into this, playing in the front row against some seasoned nrl players… I was proud (as an uncle) of his efforts with what time he was given. Not ready yet to embrace this level consistently but… I trust in Coach Robbo & the Roosters systems to develop him where he needs to be… 12mths ago he was playing schoolboy footy & A Grade club footy in Regional QLD in Toowoomba! Transitioning, to say the very least, has had its challenges… but I know he wouldn’t want it any other way.

some comments re the young inexperienced trial team & singling out particular players were way OTT imo… the SGBall, Flegg & Cup players benefited for the experience greatly I would say… even with the errors… trials have a purpose… winning is not the priority… the premiership however, winning is the bottom line.

The A Team will be back on deck by the looks, & will start to crank up the machine, for another tough season ahead.

You’re only as good as your weakest link, so Robbo & staff are strengthening those links that will no doubt be called on, in the rigors of nrl footy.

Just my 20c worth. Cheers & looking forward to the RWB 2022.

Spot on mate. Some of the comments have been very harsh but I think it may be a matter that some on here didn't realise exactly how many 'kids' we actually had out there. I can tell you the first time I played against grown men coming out of juniors I was shitting bricks yet some of these guys handled it very well and will only get better because of the expperience. While it's nice to win everu game some times it's not about the result but what you gained individually and collectively from it.

And you have every right to be a proud uncle, the neph handled himself well and I bet he has been absoultely buzzing the past week, firstly knowing that he was going to play the trial and then afterwards to see that he can handle the step up. Hopefully it makes that fire inside him burn that little bit more fierce now

The Armchair Nevilles seem to like singling out players though - not sure of the purpose of this as only they know.

I have a wrap on Sandon Smith who was unfairly singled out (won the Roosters junior rep player of the year in 2021 after a stellar season in SG Ball and when called up to play Jersey Flegg ).

Your Nephew plays SG Ball with another 2 players in Josh Wong and Tyler Moriarty for instance who have bright futures as well.

The youngsters haven't played a lot of footy the past 2 years.

2020 - only 5 rounds of the juniors reps ( Harold Matthews/SG Ball/Tarsha Gale/Laurie Daley and Andrew Johns cups) and only 1 Jersey Flegg/NSW Cup game played before those comps were cancelled. NSW Womens comp was cancelled completely

2021 was a bit better as they managed to complete the junior rep season and 13 rounds of Jersey Flegg/NSW Cup before those comps were cancelled. The NSW Women's comp was cancelled after the last round so no finals - Central Coast Roosters were a shoe in to win that comp being undefeated minor premiers -No NRLW either

All other local football was cancelled as well and of course they aren't training when these comps and other footy is cancelled.

So their footy development has been affected and training and game simulation sessions are no comparison to actually game time.

Hopefully they are able to play the full season as there a stack of promising juniors in the Roosters system (Sydney Roosters and Central Coast Roosters) who need consistent playing and game time for their footy development to progress.

Ditto for players in the senior comps - NSW Cup/NSW Women's premiership and NRLW.
