Good side. A few fringe first grade players which will make the game less of a complete snoozefest. Equally happy that we’re not risking anything crazy for the first hit out. Suspect most will be available for next weeks trial (final trial). Canberra have named a relatively strong squad (in terms of what they have available), so it will be interesting to watch tomorrow night and how our youngsters go. Keen footy is back.

is. Selected amongst this very young group can’t be a good sign for him. No Walker tells us he’ll be playing ahead of Hutch in Round 1.

Lam at FB????? My brother told me that he was told by a building mates cousins girlfriends dads bossess ex wifes new husbands business partners next door neighbour that Billy Smith was going to be trialed at FB.
With the way that King Salvo go's on about Volkman I thought he would have been the first choice halfback over Sandon Smith. Sandon Smith has come through the Central Coast Roosters system.
I wonder whats happened to that 5/8 that played for the Bulldogs that was on a train & trial contract this year at the Chooks. Is it Nu?

I think the Chooks will replace Keary with the next superstar of the game Matt Burton.

Well I guess you must be applying the same assessment to Keighran, Naiqama, Hutch etc.

The Volkster will be fine and be pushing for an NRL spot - Sandon Smith is a gooden as well - SG Ball and then promoted to Jersey Flegg in 2021 1/2-5/8 and a very good goal kicker as well - Roosters Junior Rep player of the year in 2021.
