Without knowing anything about this guy ( age etc ) I won’t be sweating him too much

It was our Bears team basically. Not much to see here
Oh you were there, were you....I was only listening to a crackly old radio where you had to stamp your foot to get reception. It cut out completely after 10 minutes, so then I went for a walk to feed the ducks in the park.

It was the Bears v Mounties, I don't think it said anything about where either 1st grade club is at.

In essence, Canberra used more 1st graders (we used a grand total of zero starting 1st graders) and then rested them in the 2nd half. Robbo was at the ground (probably just having a look at a few outside opportunities), but JT was the one pictured with the boys in the changeroom.

Based on that I have NFI how either team's gonna go this season (or the Bears/Mounties for that matter... Bears are probably a whole lot better than Mounties it suggests? Faders are better than the Bears... you'd frigging hope so too!!!)

I tend to think some folk on here over analyse particular players performances.

I thought he stuck at it and went okay - the lads got plenty of promise -came through the Central Coast Roosters system - Harold Matthews and SG Ball - best back and rising star awards then to the Sydney Roosters SG Ball side in 2021 and also played 5 or so Jersey Flegg games in 2021 as well after the SG Ball comp finished- won the Sydney Roosters Junior Rep player of the year in 2021.

A lot of these lads and lasses have the tool box-they just need to learn how to use the tools which wont be overnight. Be good if Cronk or even Jason Taylor could work with these youngsters as well.

Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy had a good win today 32-6 over the Canberra Raiders in the Tarsha Gale Cup.

Sandon Smith, teenager who’s in the SG Ball squad came through the Central Coast system.

Whilst all professional players performance deserve analysis no one like’s a twat if you don’t know much maybe educate yourself first. Sad to see it coming from our own supporters.

As Robbo said in the press conference, the longer the game went on (and particularly in the 2nd half) the Roosters looked good and matched Canberra.
My interpretation is that the raiders struggled against a Roosters side than was lucky to have 1 or 2 starting 17 players in it.
That is particularly disturbing when you have put on a team on the field, that will only be strengthened by the return of about 4 first graders.
It was lucky they had Adam Elliot out there (ex Bulldog player) as they would have gone a lot worse.
IMO , Sticky has plenty to worry about , and I already have written them off as a premiership contender.

I said he had a terrible game, not that he is a terrible player nor person. If honesty isn’t welcome here then please feel free to let me know.

why apologise? He was crap, Rooster 6 has always had a hardon for underperforming halfbacks that try really hard

Clueless about Sandon Smith -Roosters Junior Rep Player of the year 2021 - highly rated by the head coach so I figure he knows a touch more about the game and players than folk dishing him do.
