    Volkman is small.
    Keary is small.
    Walker is small.
    Lussick is small
What are we doing, building a team of small people?

Chanellling Randy Newman - short people- mmm as Mark Twain said "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog".

Ring up Robbo and ask him to give you a run then

Either that or a candidate for Long Bay. I'm pretty sure they have a Waverley College wing out there.

More than that, we will have a better chance of retaining him if we show faith in him. I think Volkman has to leapfrog Hutch in the pecking order.
Funny that about Hutch as he was almost as much despised as a player as Lammy by a number of folk on here. Then he becomes their second favourite player- Rock Solid as Liquid water the Armchair Nevilles.

Wasn't Long Bay to be closed - developers will be lining up big time - mmm will they call the new estate/suburb Long Bay though as in Long Bay Heights

We will have so many hookers we could open a brothel!
Smith will be playing lock for the Storm in 2022 it seems.

I think big 5/8s are a thing of the past, not sure we’ll ever see the game return to big 5/8’s.

Maloney, Carney & Keary have all been brilliant for us and would all be considered undersized five-eights.

Not a big fan of putting halves at 9. Volkman would be wasted there. Want him with room to kick and use his quick feet, not stuck at dummy half.

Carney was 6 foot and 90kgs, he defended like he was undersized but he had a solid frame.

Burton, Brown, Wighton, Doueihi are all pretty big for 5/8’s, there’s still a place for both imo

The Dummy half role is evolving with the rule changes so you need one who can run and kick as well as the usual Dummy half roles - I don't think Robbo likes that type of Dummy Half that runs and kicks though and the stats support that and not just last season too.

Not sure how that will go with Smith who likes to run and kick when playing dummy half.

                            Verrills 14 games - runnung metres - 281 - kicks 3- 68 metres
                            Marshke - 13 games -running metres - 101- kicks 3- 78 metres
                            Lussick - 6 games - running metres- 72 - kicks 2- 37 metres

Keighran is showing as 15 games - running metres 480 -kicks 8 - 313 metres but he played other positions

Hutchison is a player that you know what you will get every game. A solid, if unspectacular game. Nothing more, nothing less.
Heres the dilemma that I see with Volkman. The guy is 19 years old, so he himself would expect to be starting for a team in the next year or two. Truthfully, barring an early concussion retirement from Keary, Volkman is not going to overtake him or Walker, nor will he get the utility spot over CW. Obviously the guy is indeed a special talent. He was a dual threat running and kicking talent in high school and is a good conversion kicker. This is why I would like to see him now; maybe if we show a little faith in him he might decide to come back as opposed to playing his whole Roosters career in the Norths colours. As it stands the Dolphins and Storm are in a fight for Jahrome Hughes and I would not be shocked to see the loser of that fight come after a talent such as Volkman. As much as I hate Bellamy and Skeletor, I have to admit that they are phenomenal coaches who develop talent exceptionally well (not as well as Robinson). I would hate to see Volkman end up with either those coaches
