Great minds think alike and he's not afraid of selecting Lam which I wouldn't be either - must make the armchair nevilles blood boil and veins pop out every time they see or hear Lam's name.

mmm can I get Robbo to trial and implement the following

• Non dedicated/floating dummy half
• Attacking Kick offs (Cronin type grubbers/ drilled at the sideline/dribble and chase etc)
• Halves defending on the wing or one in.
• Bench of one prop/one back rower and 2 utilities.

Little bit of prep and combo time with walker to bag the 2 points against the knights in the 1st round maybe.

There's about 50% more potency in this team compared to the first trial, but it looks like the overriding consideration in being selected for this trial team seems to be youth.
I do like the look of the interchange.

Lam at FB cause there is clearly no position for him in the side. He’s just making up the numbers. He wouldn’t be in the top 5 for fullback position once the real footy starts.

It’s a real surprise that so many big names aren’t going to be getting any game time going into round 1. Trials are becoming redundant.

Great to see Lindsay back and nice to see Fafita start after his efforts last week and for May to go again.

Not many over 25s in the side.

He is playing Fullback because they need someone, anyone there this weekend, who is pretty much not in the frame for another position, other than a back up 14.

He’s our backup backup backup 14. If this year is like last year he may get plenty of game time.

It's amazing Robbo keeps picking Lammy seeing he is so bad. I wish he would listen to the Chookpen experts for better direction.

He keeps picking him in trials matches, in a position he’ll never play in FG.

Is the 25 jumper the only one we have that is big enough for big Tuku? Great to see a few of the young guys given another chance, I thought Eli Roberts looked quite sharp with ball in hand, he has some really nice footwork. Great to see Sandon Smith given another chance too. Does anybody know if Billy Smith is still returning from injury or just being kept in cotton wool?

Perhaps when Joey re-signed he had a clause written in, that he would play 5/8 when Keary is out?
