So our actual first grade trial will be round 1, Robbo going back to his old ways where we would look a mile underdone for round 1.

No way would a coach agree to this. He does what the coach needs him to do. He plays where the team needs him to play.

Sualli, Watson, Manu, Adam K can all cover fullback.

Lam is the only one trialling out of position. Probably cause he won’t have a position so it doesn’t really matters where he is in the trials.

It's amazing Robbo keeps picking Lammy seeing he is so bad. I wish he would listen to the Chookpen experts for better direction.

But seriously, he must have faith in any player he puts in at centre , fullback or hooker when he's never even played there before. Mr Fixit, he's held in good regard by those who know.

Vuate Karawalevu is on an extended squad/ bench contract and will start the season in Jersey Flegg. Tom Carr is as well but payed last week and on the bench this week- Carr is a Bears reggies contracted player as well

Chooks do have 2 - 30 player squad spots left and 2 Development Contracts (have 4 now and can have up to 6) so not sure if any of the extended bench will be signed to a NRL or a Development Contract in 2022.

The Covid replacements come from the extended bench or development contracted players with NRL approval that is. Why I assume the Chooks have 8 on the extended bench.

Anybody know his status? My understanding is that he's physically gifted but is still very much learning the game of footy.

Surely this isn't a bad time to give him a run so that he can get a feel for the pace and prep required.

Sigh. I continue to have NFI why we bother with 'trials'. Somebody knows.

Probably more important for the guys who are going to be there in Round 1 to get a run. He can learn how to play in reserves.
