The NSWRL Harold Matthews Cup is a junior rugby league competition played in New South Wales between teams made up of players aged under 16. The competition is administered by the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL).
The S. G. Ball Cup is a junior rugby league football competition played predominantly in New South Wales, between teams made up of players aged under 18.
Not sure on what the Johns & Daly cup ages are.

They changed the age groups of Harold Matthews Cup from under 16's to under 17's /SG Ball and Tarsha Gale Cup from under 18's to under 19's from the 2021 Junior Rep season due to the 2020 season being cut short and cancelled.

Gave the youngsters the chance to play a full season in those comps by putting the age up by 1 year- In 2021 all these comps were completed before the cancellation of the other tier comps i.e NSW Cup/Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield.

Andrew Johns cup under 16's and Laurie Daley cup under 18's have maintained those age groups even though these two comps were cancelled after the final round prior to the finals in 2020.
