Considering it was an 11-2 penalty count plus a similar set restarts against, they defended well.

I guess it was practice for what will happen in the season proper.

Love seeing Jackson Hastings being labelled "buy of the year". LOL

His defence is solid. Won't win too many games in attack though. Reminds me of Ivan Cleary at the Roosters.

More like Mitch Aubusson to me.
Momorovski will score at least 12 tries this year I reckon.
Robbo said in an interview before the game that Momorovski was like having a coach on the field. Robbo highly rates him, he will be picked every week unless injured. Wait & see.

Be nice if he could kick goals like Ivan.

I just feel that such an effort deserves recognition. The Tigers should have led by 40 with all the possession and penalties they had. Such was the tenacity and ferociousness of our tackling.

One point I’d like to make though. I think that ‘defence’ should be defined as - tackles + penalties not conceded + errors not committed - not just tackles because continually handing over possession is not good defence.
After 2 trial matches you are proud?! Yeah good one. You must be special.

At times I thought our tackling style looked a little different.

It looks like more of a catch and hold style.

                Did anyone else notice this?

I hope we don't go too far down the wrestling path. Otherwise defence looked good.

Maybe. I like players that are solid and give you a similar performance every week.

                  I think he'll be a good buy.
