Personally I hate all the media hype over the easts and souths rivalry, those situations always favour the poor underdog and they handle and play off the emotion better than us.
The media love it and Pump it up to gain as much mileage as they can out of it.
Radley talking about improving his footwork in defence which leads to the high shots.
I think a lot of high shots come from fatigue when the defensive line has been put on the back foot through defending repeat sets and 6 agains.

I'd rather we put 60+ points on those clowns and run a muck instead of going after Latrell, Jai Arrow or some other flog and risk losing a player to suspension, fines or injury.
We play to win games (competition points) and it's been a while since we've got a win over Souffs. If we really are meant to be a premiership threat, we need to be able to win games especially against the top 4-5 teams in the comp and that includes Souffs (based on recent form). We've been embarrassed by them in the last three encounters and that crap needs to change and swing the other way, in our favour instead of our players red-lining, self-destructing and costing us the game !
We don't need to go after and bash Latrell, the kid is his own worst enemy and as sad as it may sound, he'll most-likely implode and do damage to himself in some way, shape or form, sooner or later. I'm sure Robbo would have the same thought and would be drilling this notion into the boys to stay focused, play the game smart and play to win.Last edited by DP1990; 03-03-2022, 09:22 PM.

I dont expect any of the Roosters players to go out on the night & knock Latrell out & then being sent off or on report but I do expect that all 17 Roosters players on the night try to hurt him every time he touches the ball. Things like digging the elbow into his calf muscle when our player is getting up after tackling him or making head to head contact with him as your wresting him to the ground or blind shotting him having 2 Roosters holding him up & the 3rd man hit him with everything to the rib area all those scenarios are legal if you do it right. During the rough wrestle you make sure as your all going to the ground that your knee accidently comes in contact with his groin. Dont worry JWH does all those things I just said, he'll sort him out.

One has used it as an opportunity to grow and mature, the other has used it as an opportunity to grow a chip on his shoulder.
I said when Latrell left the next few years were going to be very difficult as he lacked maturity and self-awareness and us not having to deal with that part of his career would be a blessing in disguise but that like most young adults he would mature once he hits the other side of 20... now I'm less sure about that. He seems to be in a very toxic environment where they are feeding into his insecurities and coming up with all kinds of strange conspiracy theories. Watching his interview it looks like he's putting up bigger walls than ever to the outside world and that's not a good thing.
I do feel for Latrell, I think he's in the wrong environment and he's being mislead.
If that's the case, let's just see where his maturity level is at when the times comes for contract renewal.......he'll be approaching the other side of 20 by then.
Does he come to his senses, ignore those negative individuals who cloud his judgement & leave the toxic environment that's stagnating his career, so he can flourish and fulfil his true potential OR does he like so many predict - stay put and ride the highs and lows?
