hope you saw in my later post to thirteen where I mentioned I wasn’t having a go at you MR.

Rain is predicted for Saturday which I think will even things up, Im still tipping the Chooks but I think the scores will be close.
I was hoping for a prediction of dry weather and no rain- Newcastle - Saturday - Partly Cloudy with light winds - temperature 17 to 25 - with a 70% chance of rain most likely in the afternoon -1 to 4 mm.

Yeah I like your reasoning Davo. Suaalii's being primed to be an awesome centre, not a winger.

Sad for Naiqama that he's unlikely to play a lot of injuries. However, he didn't look great during the second trial (LOTS of errors) and is probably just happy to be training with Robbo ahead of the world cup.

GREAT squad!!! Fark it's good seeing Keary (assume he's recovered?!?), Collins, Smith, and a few other boys returning. It's pretty much the squad we SHOULD have had for the finals last year. Side note, Baker's a bit of a surprise for me, but a quality player to have none the less.

Just also wait till Verrills starts at #9, Watson to shift to the utility role and Egan Butcher to come back and play off the bench (replacing Baker).

Then there's Renouf Atoni as well.

          Good Lord ... what a team !

I really rate smith ,big, fast, good defender he has scored a try in just about every game he has played for us, he has had a cursed run with injuries .And he is about to score another try against the knights this weekend that's my tip.

I’m so pumped to see Billy Smith starting this week!

Based on the trial games I feel Robbo has made the right choice leaving out Naiqama, he didn’t impress enough to earn a starting spot in my opinion..

                Go Easts!

You can see why many have us taking the candy this year looking at that team as a first round dig.

N Butcher of course is in the 17.
SST on the bench so who kicks the goals?
If the rain continues it will be a game leveler. It will be no easy win.
Yeh Billy Smith is an interesting one but Robbo has always been a huge fan and to be fair, Smiths performances have always been impressive it's just been his time out of the game that's been the concern.

When Suaali is available it will make for an interesting choice because I think there's every chance that Robinson just rates 3. Smith 5. Momorovski over 3. Momorovski 5. Naiqama

Might be the unleashing of one of my ideas the non designated/floating dummy half perhaps when Watson comes off

No Bears NSW Cup or Chooks Jersey Flegg sides listed - Junior reps will play the washout round this weekend weather permitting but no teams listed either

The Sydney Shield comp will be only 7 teams - 3 rounds (16 games) and 3 byes- comps starts 19th March - Sydney Roosters play on 20th March vs Penrith Brothers @ Leichhardt Oval - 3 pm- Took so long to work out a draw that 3 clubs at least left to play in different comps.

I am glad Drew Hutchinson is getting a run with the side.
He is the type of player you want when the football game deteriorates into a battle of trench warfare.
I loved the way Billy Smith played last year ..... but the jury's still out on whether his body can handle the rigours of FG.

looking at the knaughts team, there is only one who would mate the cut for the roosters and thats Klemmer. good luck to their season. Does one of the knaughts have a fractured leg???

May well be the case ay! TBH I haven't seen enough of either to know whether Smith or Momirovski's better. Momirovski's won a GF and chained together some decent footy, but only Robbo knows what he's seen at training.
