Go easy fellas, a few years ago John had a nasty incident with a gang of Greek youths and the wrong end of an ouzo bottle behind Marrickville Yeeros that has clearly scarred him for life.
John needs your support and understanding, not your ridicule.

It just struck me as very ironic that John professed his support for our coach but hammers our captain repeatedly. Maybe it's a Greek thing. I don't support every decision our club makes but constant irrational hatred of individuals is a waste of time IMO.

Besides we have Fred69er for that.

I say this from a staunch record of heterosexuality (Seinfeld joke)...but

I fell in love with Brian Smith in the days when he used to commentate on ABC Radio and had never heard before (or since) someone with the earthy honesty about people and passion for the game that he expressed.

When he joined Easts as Coach I was ecstatic. When he leaves I will be sad.
