Sure worked a treat against the Knights….

Sure did. Every time he threw the pass we got away from the sideline

        I am!!!

        Hutchison is absolutely useless.

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

There is no need to drop players after the first round!

That's not the opinion of our coach - he has got Hutch sitting on the bench.
If you cast your mind back to the Cronulla game last year, our whole team was floundering around playing fancy stuff, trying to work out how to get through the Sharks defence.
Hutch gets the ball, runs straight, and scores the try that swung the momentum our way, so that we went on to win the game.
The guy may not be fancy, but he straightens our attack.
I would even go to say, that if , in a game, that if our forwards are not making yardage up the middle, that a Hutch/ Keary or , Hutch// Walker combination could be preferable to Keary/ Wal;ker.
Now I have opened up myself to that, let the outrage begin !!!

I'd play the 'job fit' approach with Hutch and Lam. Hutch offers buggerall oomph from the bench and isn't a 9/dummy half. Let Lam have the 14 when Watson starts.

Conversely if Walker or Keary are out, maybe use Hutch as first call deputiser to steer the ship if required. Form pending of course.

                Nah.
I would of started with Lam at 9 & Watson 14. If something happens to one of the halves then Lam or Watson play 5/8 for that game. If one of the halves is still out I would pick Keighran because he goal kicks then Hutch.
