That is my memory of him as a coach. I lost count of the number of times Souffs players would go off for a HIA and then return to the field. Or they would be ruled out of the game but miraculously recover in time to play the following week. He's only worried about player safety if it doesn't get in the way of him winning football games

Im really liking the Panthers & how they play. We'll know how good the Chooks are going when they play Penrith.
Its hard to know whether Souths will remain a top 4 side or become a lower bottom 8 side.
I cant wait for Wayne & his Dolphins next year.

When he was coach of Souffs, wasn't it him that rushed his players back into the first grade lineup, when they had a serious concussion the week before ?
I also can't remember whether it was Bennett that left Inglis on the paddock for the rest of the game, after Inglis suffered the ACL, and was clearly hobbling on one leg.
Is that Bennett's definition of player welfare?

Agree. I have a lot of respect for Bennett, but the way he attacks our club is childish. Residue from getting on Nick's bad side or losing out on Brandon Smith maybe. He's starting to sound quite petty lately.

This was brought up in the pre-game presser, and once again Robbo handled it as an ultimate professional. Didn’t react to it, but acknowledged it and with such grace stepped back and reaffirmed his confidence in our clubs approach.

Just watching Rabbits v Penrith and they were talking about Cam Murray after he suffered a head knock.. Apparently he admitted that he was concussed in the GF last year but stayed on anyway. Yeah.....Bennett is really concerned about his players welfare....
